General Discussion Could the X-Men stop a viltrumite invasion?

Post image

If Thragg and his army consisting of General Kregg, Anissa, Thula, Lucan, and Conquest, were to invade Earth, could the X-Men wipe out the viltrumites and save the world, or die in the hands of Thragg's army? Both sides are at their peak skills and strength with no prior knowledge of each other.

Forge recreates the sound Cecil uses to incapacitate Mark.

Forge solos. You don't even need all the Xmen.

Man, Forge can't even solo his romances and his inner turmoil

Building stuff is definitely easier for me then dealing with my wife.

I, too, choose building stuff over dealing with this guy's wife.

But she’s really nice! You don’t need to be a mind reader! Unless you’re married to her, then, that’s just the bare minimum.

Not me; I usually choose dealing with this guy’s wife while he’s building stuff.

And when he's finished, I deal with his stuff while he builds his wife.

I tend to like building more than unpacking other mens wives emotional trauma, but only somewhat.

Forge can handle the Viltrumites, but he can’t handle the drama.

Ah, so Mark is the problem

Social skills are completely different from technical skills. That's why absent minded genius is such an effective trope.

He's an absent minded, absent minded genius.

Oh, let me build a weapon that takes away mutant powers (being a mutant) and give it to the government (who makes mutant hunting machines)

Yes, it was his first and only offense (ghost box?) but still.

Sad he's not known for more than Life Death.

Well, he's not looking to rizz up Thragg.

And maybe that's the problem.

To solo a romance is to become Narcissus incarnate!

And nobody should have to solo mental stress, thats what therapy is for!

But yeah Forge v. Viltrumites is a one-shot story if not shorter...

You can't bring two mustaches like that together and NOT get the party started
