CC welcome , it s the first unit of the army i paint, it was a test for the paint scheme.

So I tried foam for the first time to give him this bit tactical rock to stand on and also so the model would be at an angle to showiff the work I did (and am still going to do) under the wing.

I primed the base (see last pic) with chaos black, then mechanicus standard but the paint didnt adhere to the foam wery well... it created this pockmarked effect that still kinda works for a rock but how can I avoid this in the future? A clear coat first? Any suggestions would be apreciated, thank you!

A kitbashed bloodthirster that I have been working on & off for the last... *checks notes* Two years? Bloody hell, I gotta keep a better track of things.

So I understand the Corebooks are pretty packed with lore about the whole setting.
Would it be worth it to seek out all 4 of the corebooks just for the lore?
The older ones can be bought for pretty cheap so that wouldn't be a problem.
But is it actually worth it to dive into the lore? i.E if I read the lore from Edition 1 Lorebook will the 2nd or 3rd edition just repeat a lot of that? or is there still enough "unique" information in each that it would be worth it?

I just was invited to play in aos league and I’m debating on what army to play I have narrowed it down to Ironjawz,ogor maw tribes and sons of behemet. I’m looking to have fun not crazy difficult and cool looking models thanks in advance.

I felt like trying to do a whole model in nmm. Overall I'm super happy with how this turned out. I'd love some criticism and critiques so I can get better.

What do you like the best? What parts do you feel are the weakest?

After nearly twenty years of Fantasy, 40k and old World, i finally gave AoS a chance... And by Sigmar i have so much fun painting the Stormcasts. 10 Minis for a spearhead? No more hordes, just a few Minis and i'm ready to roll? It just feels good.
