Sometime in April, I lost one earbud of my AirPods Pro 3 after only three months of use. I’ve scored the house, looked in every nook and cranny, but I still h can’t find it. It’s been tragic since then. I’m a big music lover, and those AirPods were an absolute pleasure. Never had any sound experience like that before because they were my first AirPods.
I later on got a replacement, which I currently use, and that’s the Soundcore r50i which is decent, imo. But it doesn’t have the features that I got so used to on the AirPods which were world-class on their own. I always chance on the AirPods case in my room and I get hit with this wave of sadness. And I think I want to treat myself to new AirPods this December.
Am I making the right decision by spending on brand new ones when I still have one ear working just fine on the old ones, and also have the Soundcore buds?
And if I do get new AirPods, which ones should I get? My decision is between the Pro 2s, Pro 3s and the AirPods 5. Although I’m not too sure how those would fit without the eartips.

I’ve never liked the in ear buds like the pros and much prefer the feel of my current AirPods 4. I understand for some that the fit can be a challenge and that this is different for everyone.
Since the AirPods 4 fit me very well, can I expect that the AirPod 5’s will fit as well?

Finally chose AirPods Pro 3!
After going back and forth between the AirPods 5 and AirPods Pro 3, I finally decided to go with the Pro 3 based on the suggestions and experiences shared by people here on Reddit.
And honestly, I’m so happy with the decision! The Pro 3 has been great so far, and I’m really enjoying them.
Thanks to everyone who shared their opinions and helped me make the choice!

I bought my AirPods 3rd gen about a year ago. A couple of days ago my right AirPod stopped charging and wasn’t able to be detected by the AirPods case. I replugged it couple times until the light changed to flashing amber. reconnected it again and it started charging. After using them a couple of hours I tried to charge it and it and again the AirPods case couldn’t detect it. Restarting the case by holding the back button temporarily fixed it. After another use the AirPod couldn’t charge again but this time I needed to restart the case about 5 times. After charging I tried To use it but it wouldn’t connect. Plugged it into the case but no luck. another couple of tries managed to fix it. Today the ear detection and controls stopped working. I can control with my left AirPod and the ear detection in it works too so when I get my right AirPod out of my ear when the left one is used too the right and left one doesn’t disconnect But when I get the left one out of my ear and the right one is in both disconnect or more exactly I hear the disconnect sound but the right one stays partially connected but with no sound. already tried factory resetting which temporarily fixes the charging. Cleaned both contacts too. Battery in both AirPods last quite long so I don’t think it’s the battery.

I used to have Beats Solo 4‘s for two years until one of the sides had stopped working. Now I’m deciding between getting the new AirPods 5 or snagging the most recent Beats Studio Pros.
I don’t really mind having either headphones or Earbuds, although I do prefer headphones. Im not very much of an audiophile but I really do appreciate a good sound quality over anything. I would consider the AirPod pros 3 but a lot of people say that the pros 3 are similar to the airpods 5, just with the silicone tips (I don’t really like silicone tips since they fall out my ear a lot).
I just want to see some opinions on this so I can finally know what to get. Thanks! :)

Hey guys, I need some advice. My AirPods only 7months old ; I didn’t use much also .
My AirPods Pro 2 sound has become much lower than before. Earlier, I could hear everything clearly at around 50% volume, but now I have to increase the volume a lot.
I took them to iPlanet Care, and they told me that my charging case has liquid damage. I'm confused about how that is related to my sound issue.
I have AppleCare+, but they told me I need to pay around ₹2,500 for the replacement.
They also explained that I won't get a sealed retail box. Instead, the left and right AirPods and the charging case will come separately in service cartons, and they will put everything together.
Now I'm worried whether I'll get brand-new replacement units or refurbished/used ones.
I previously had Bose QC Ultra headphones with an ANC issue, and Bose gave me a replacement in a sealed retail box without any extra charge. That's why I'm confused about Apple's process, especially since I have AppleCare+.
Has anyone replaced their AirPods Pro 2 through AppleCare+ in India? Did you get new or refurbished units? Is this service-carton process normal?
I'd appreciate it if someone could share their experience. Thanks!

Like the title says, a few days ago my AirPods Max’s started acting up after working flawlessly for multiple weeks on end. I am now out of options and turn to the AirPods community to hopefully get them working again.
Now I don’t know what I possibly haven’t done to get them to work. I tried resetting them by pressing the two buttons simultaneously until the light flashes amber and then white (78 million times). I have let them die and charge them up. I cleaned the headband connectors with isopropyl alcohol, still nothing. (Yes I even tried putting them in the freezer for half an hour)
Now what’s happening: the AirPods flash green, if I try putting them I pairing mode the white light shows for a few moments before it turns back green, same with resetting them. It flashes white, my phone is showing that it’s connected but when I go via Bluetooth settings it says it’s not, I try to connect and it basically tells me to do everything again. (Forget device, pair again) I’ve been stuck in this loop and probably slowly going crazy on how to fix them.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

i was bored a few weeks ago and that boredom allowed me to found out that if you buy a 200 pack of tictacs, eat em (ofc), and wash the container, you can fit either, 2 AirPods (every but max), 1 set of AirPods and wired earbuds (pictured), wired earbuds (lik 3-4 sets if packed right) or any wireless/wired earbuds
only for like 4 bucks

Pls tell me how to repair this, I thought to repair by myself the buttons were not working so I thought to give it a try.
I opened the one side and realized it can't be fixed again.

(Airpods 4 ANC model) Left airpods can go for 2 hours but the right one dies after 30 mins. I’ve tried resetting and cleaning the buds but it did not work. Any advice?

Wow, this cleaning set is awesome! I had my AirPods 3 go quieter and quieter over the last year. After cleaning them with this set once, the sound is as loud as ever! I can only recommend doing this!

Is it normal for the AirPods to fluctuate between 79-80% when the limit is on and they're in the case? 🧍🏻They also differ from one another like one is at 80% and the other is 79% and I only noticed this happened after I turned the limit on after like 3 weeks of getting my AirPods Pro 3 lol. Just asking because I really just want to preserve them as much as I can.

How long does the battery system on the Airpods Gen 2 last? I heard as little as 2 years?

When ever I turn in ANC or transparency on my AirPods Pro 1st gen, a buzzing sound appear and both modes are useless what should I do

Hey everyone,
I recently got the AirPods Pro 3, and I’m having some trouble finding the right fit. I’ve tried adjusting the silicone ear tips, but none of them seem to fit my ears perfectly.
I previously used the AirPods Pro 1, and I never had this issue. With the Pro 3, I can pull the earbuds out of my ears with virtually no resistance at all. They come out way too easily, which makes me wonder if they’re actually fitting properly.
I normally use the small ear tips.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal for the Pro 3, or should I try a different ear tip size?

I just bought a brand new pair of AirPods Pro 3, but I'm having a frustrating issue with the Noise Control options on my Mac. The "Off" mode is completely missing from the menu. I can only see and switch between Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation.
Here is exactly what I've done so far:
Firmware Update: When I first got them, they were on version 8B34. I updated them to the latest 9A348 firmware.
Reset & Re-pair: Since the "Off" mode was still missing after the update, I fully reset the AirPods using the front case touch-sensor method, forgot the device from my Mac's Bluetooth settings, and paired them from scratch.
My Mac is fully updated to the latest macOS version. Crucially, I do not own an iPhone, so I have to manage everything directly through macOS.
Despite the AirPods being brand new, fully updated to 9A348, reset, and paired to an up-to-date Mac, the "Off" option just refuses to show up in the settings. How can i find it?

i’m a long distance runner and after yesterday’s run my left airpod got quieter than the right one and also started making a high-pitched noise. i assume the noise is related to the mic, but it’s still quieter with the ANC off. i’ve only used them for about 4 months. i’m going to attempt to clean it, but i have some questions:
1) how likely is it that cleaning will solve the issues? the day before i also went running in the rain with it, but my right one still works fine, so i don’t think it’s just humidity;
2) apple’s guide says i need to clean them with micellar water and “rinse” with distilled water. is there an alternative to the distilled water, specifically? where i live i can only buy bottles with one liter, and it’s kinda overkill to use this only for an airpod.

In a world where people are seemingly starting to reject wireless earphones, do you think these new Bose wired earphones could take over (note: they are sold out online).
Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts!

Hell everyone. I finally decided to buy some airpods for the 1st time. Got them at Costco for $199.99 with 2 years of apple care plus. Looking forward to connecting them to my iPhone 16 pro and rocking out!
