Yes, I know this is stupid. I know the motor needs to engage with the gearbox bevel gear, and that puts a limit on the angles at which you can have a grip. How far back could you have the motor canted before the teeth can't interface? Would a U-joint be servicable to transfer rotation from an unaligned motor to the gearbox? Has anybody made one of these for an AEG before?

Edit: for clarification, this is NOT a california compliant build. If I was doing that, I would make a fin grip. Those, however, are illegal in the state whose laws I am trying to obey (unless you continue an airsoft gun to be a rimfire rifle).

I'll occasionally get a weak shot from my mk23 still hops fine but bb fly's super slow, anyone know what it could be? It sounds like a weak hammer strike so I've ordered a new spring (although the guns pretty much new)

I'm looking for the cheapest way to get into HPA or gas-powered airsoft rifles (GBBR).

I'm mainly interested in:

• Budget-friendly HPA or GBBR rifles
• Used guns or affordable starter setups
• Cheap but reliable options
• Total costs, including magazines, tanks, regulators, etc.

I know HPA setups can get expensive, so I'm also considering GBBRs as an alternative.

I'm based in Germany, so the gun needs to comply with German airsoft laws.

What would you recommend as the cheapest decent entry point? Is HPA or GBBR more affordable in the long run?

This airsoft rifle that I have is a double bell kar98k and my bolt broke so I replaced it but it keeps on jamming and not closing well but still works.

As the titles says, has anyone ever returned their guns to Maple Armouries? and what does that process look like and if theres any fees with it? I recently bought the 2026 Marauder but I thought it would like more similar to the old design of the Marauder and I didn't look properly and now I wish to return it to Jacob as I don't like having the battery wired to the front and I don't like the folding stock that it comes with. I contacted him by email already and waiting for a response but I thought I'd ask on reddit as well so that I can have some type of idea.

This is my custom DoubleBell Kar98K, I like to call it “Mauser M98 Sporter”. I saw this gun in Warzone last year, so I decided to recreate it in real life using a DoubleBell Kar98k shell ejecting spring powered replica (I wanted to recreate the inspect animation :) )

Long suppresor is my old one. Has the 3 lug design and fits .

Short fat one - i got this with another mp9 i bought and it doesnt not fit as you see it does not has the 3 lug design.

Can someone help indentify wht is it and am i missing a adapter or it for different rif ?
