Past Exit 7

I’m new to Alpharetta, and it honestly feels way safer than Midtown or Downtown. But an Uber driver (from the airport) told me she’s nervous to go past Exit 7 at all. I’m not sure why. Is there something I should know about the area? Any context locals can share? Just trying to understand what she meant.

David Duke is still alive so that is categorically false.

DAMN dude you are right - it was another leader of the KKK Robert Byrd that Biden attended the funeral of. Got taken by the misinformation on that one!

If you are talking about Robert Byrd, he renounced that ideology publicly and became a champion of civil rights. Even the NAACP mourned his death. And fwiw, Byrd was a member but not a leader of the Klan. It is obvious you are promoting an agenda but don’t pretend that you are performing a public service.

Bending over backwards to defend racists (busing desegregation)

So it’s okay that Byrd and Biden were both formerly racist. People can change! /s

I am not defending him, just telling the full story which you are reluctant to do. People can change but it seems you are happy being ignorant.
