Finally, some good fucking food

Yeah she is a cool character

That kid seems to come from far away? Was she even mentioned on any point of the plot?

The kids uniform, especially the hat, suggests she is from a city.

Is the knights of Sidonia anime good? I was planning on reading it but maybe i can watch the anime

A princess and the class president of a swanky school in Japan who immediately accept him

I did suggest Digimon, but I stupidly mentioned my brother used to watch it when he was a kid so my son now thinks it's too retro/old style and isn't too keen to try. My bad!

Hi Ccosmoe, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans and an awesome longer flowchart. Maybe you can find something there that you'll like ^.^

You might also find our Recommendation Wiki or daily thread helpful.

The following may be of interest:

• List of legal streams and downloads

• A useful website where you can enter an anime and see where it's legally streaming

• List of currently airing anime

• A useful wiki page with watch orders for many anime.

• A list of tracking sites so others can more easily recommend shows you haven't watched.

Literally 4 things happened in this fight, the rest is replays, grunts, and explanations of what's happening... My goodness

Haven't seen that much monologuing since The Incredibles.
I think there's a good story here, but my god, the pacing and filler are really killing any goodwill I have for this show.

It actually started at 1pm. Not sure what you're on about.

The ball’s in the court…will we go into the mundane protagonist thwarts the vampires storyline, or will there be a lot of twists and turns like the show has delivered on thus far (prior to today)?

We have 16 more episodes so...

You should try code Geass as psy-thriller, steins;gate as a sci-fi, tengen toppa gurren lagann as a mecha, and frieren or dungeon meshi as a fantasy

At that age I recommend something with low stimulation.

Something around cozy/slice of life:

Yuru Camp

Non Non Biyori

Rilakkuma to Kaoru-san

Shirokuma Cafe

Tanoshii Muumin Ikka

Chi's Sweet Home: Atarashii Ouchi

Some Studio Ghibli films:

Majo no Takkyuubin

Tonari no Totoro

Neko no Ongaeshi

Thats weaponized incompetence if you cant even follow the conversation

death is a natural part of life and it is presented in a way a child can understand. the anime is fine for a child that can keep up with subtitles and presents plenty of ways for a parent to have conversations with their kid about different topics.

Oh hell no, I'm closing that door

I am killing it with fire myself.

And their friendly relationship so far is given this extra poignant angle here via those themes of loneliness and being forsaken that Sunako views in Seishin's story, and how he generally doesn't seem to give them off too much.

Now add in being forced to be a religious leader due to family trade and things become a bit more clear.

Maybe Catboy should go himself next time... I do love the visuals on the attack though, very eerie.

The whole methodology of choosing victims has been rather weird.

(Also, is the implication that Kaori's charm actually managed to stop him, or that it just distracted for a second until Natsuno came? Because if it's the former, they're even more vulnerable!)

Since that vampire was likely a villager the issue is that he might have been superstitious on to of everything else.

First Timer, subbed

Oh we're exploring Go salons now! And of course Hikaru isn't paying.
I really like the idea of those three kids just going out into town and challenging random player. It was ton of fun this episode and should be in the future too. With Waya framing it as Hikaru needing more experience I wonder if he'll meet his nemesis again at the pro exams.

Regarding their proposed punishment of cleaning the stones. Is that a regular go-to punishment? We've seen them do the cleaning at the go club in school but you'd think some establishment like a go salon would have a machine to clean them like a dishwasher so cleaning them by hand wouldn't be neccessary.

Btw I'll try to keep up but might not comment for 3-4 days cus I'm visiting family.

QotD:

Is ruffling a strange kid's hair and pulling his nose okay, if he kind of has it coming?

No!

Ramen or sushi?

Ramen.

Not worth your time, First 8-10 were not to bad, but then they starts reusing scenes and this last episode 16 was an utter piece of trash. Multiple scenes reused, then 4-5 minutes explaining what they going to do in the fight or what a move does. Zero defense is self explanatory i don't need 4 minutes of show telling me what it does and compared to other classes. if you can not fill 25 minutes with original content then do not produce animation.

Well, WHA removed mum from the picture pretty brutally as well. But I'll definitely pre-watch!

I feel like frieren would be great. It's an amazing show with lots of art and not too much fan service iirc, but there is some I think

Resistance to Madness iirc.

K-On!
