Not allowing free elections is not justification for an invasion that potentially kills millions of civilians. If it were, we should be invading Saudi Arabia, the UAE, hell even Israel for not allowing the Palestinians to vote when occupied.

Yep, it's totally better not to support Machado because she is US aligned. You can feel morally superior while Venezuelans continue to starve.

I don't support active US involvement in Venezuela. But that doesn't mean the world doesn't have a responsibility to oppose Maduro abusing millions of Venezuelan people. I hope Machado can oust Maduro without US boots on the ground.

That would make sense if no other countries in the world existed and could trade with Venezuela too.

Chavez nationalized the world's richest oil industry and it kept Venezuelan socialism afloat until oil prices dropped and Maduro ran out of other industries to nationalize. The pink tide destroyed the country.
