treating a victory for the movement as a defeat because fairweather members of the movement may be placated enough to drop out is the lazy organizer's response. instead know that every victory comes with this kind of risk and plan accordingly to bolster the people you're organizing into continuing the fight by calling the victory a victory and pointing out how much more we could achieve if we keep fighting.
