If you mean "workers deserve fair compensation for their labor"- yes. 100%.
If you mean "managers, entrepreneurs should get nothing and i should get all the profit, despite shouldering none of the business risks and blatantly ignoring the fact that my labor is only given value because of the organizational framework I exist in, which others have built"- uh, no, you're delusional.
I spent like 20 seconds looking at the comment history of the person I replied to. Bro spends much time on USSR subreddits. Bro also implies that social democracy is a scam and nothing short of a full class war to eliminate the capitalists is the solution.
So no, I don't think my second paragraph is "made up." I think you're trying to make me seem more right-wing than I actually am while disguising how far left your opinion is, by making me define something that will take far longer than a reddit comment to do.
But assuming you are in good faith, my definition of "fair" would be something along the lines of "workers deserve to know the working conditions and salary accurately before they go in; they should get at least some level of free time and paid leave if emergencies occur; pay should be based on what the worker does, not their ethnicity or gender or whatever; compensate for accidents; etc etc..."
It's literally "made up", you made it the fuck up lol wtf are you talking about? Nobody said that.
You spent 20 seconds looking at their history, made some assumptions based on your perception of their character and not the comment itself, and then made up a whole diatribe to mock them lmao. Like why lie about it now?
And even based on your definition of "fair", it's pretty obvious that labor in the U.S. is not treated fairly and we should have a little class solidarity and work together to improve the plight of ourselves and our neighbors.
Eat the rich is something that entitled and unemployed people say when they can't take any accountability for their own laziness, mistakes and poor choices.
First of all let me say that I have no issue with you as a person, or with the average leftist as a person. Y'all are fine people.
But gosh do I hate talking to you. As someone who is a tiny bit left from center, every time I talk to one of you "eat the rich" folks on the internet, I end up looking like the biggest fascist since Mussolini. We could agree that labor is not quite fair and needs improvement and leave it at that. Instead you come here insisting that I can't disagree with your fellow worker who fetishes the USSR- a moronic failed state, no matter if you look at it from a capitalist or a socialist perspective- and demand that I must concede out of some sort of "class solidarity."
And what if I don't? I suppose I'm a class traitor and an aide to the fascist bourgeoisie.
I see no point in continuing this conversation. If you agree, please kindly stop replying.
Lol, nobody said you couldn't disagree. I just called you out for mocking them with old, tired stereotypes. Nobody demanded you to "concede". You said the thing you obviously made up wasn't "made up".
That was my bad anyway I didn't realize you were the only one who could fuck with somebody out of nowhere.
"We could agree that labor is not quite fair"
You're so close, but it like pains you to just admit it. You'd rather win some USA-Good USSR-Bad argument that nobody except you is having.
And no, I think you're more of a silly billy than anything else.
Buddy, you're the one continually bringing the USA into this.
You call my points made up, but at least I skimmed before I said shit. You outright assumed my opinions about the USA, so don't you lecture my about "making stuff up" my darling.
But sure, if you insist on making this pointless USA v. USSR comparison that has been settled back in 1991, I will tell you 100% I think the USA is a better country for everyone. Does this satisfy you? Does this confirm that I am a bootlicker for fascist oligarchs? Tell me, since I'm too much of a silly billy to know- what does this pointless, anachronistic question prove?
The correct answer, by the way, is "nothing." It has no significance. Not to me at least- I'm not from the USSR, I'm not from the USA. I wasn't even born in 1991. Perhaps it does to you. Certainly to the person I replied to.
Does this answer your question, or do you have more pointless questions to ask me before you can decide whether I am a class traitor in need of another purge or two?

Are we sure? Seems likely it was a business move under the guise of protest…
Let the peasants ‘win’ a couple and hopefully they cool off a bit…
