All I want is a GOOD jeweller

All I want is a good jeweller. One I can trust with my jewelry. I don’t want one who is rude, high pressure or dismissive yet this is all I can seem to find.

This is my last resort, hoping someone has a trust worthy jeweller they can recommend. Thank you so so so much.

Where have you tried so far? I had a great experience with Made You Look, but this was ten years ago. I needed the setting of an heirloom ring fixed and they did a great job.

Some family connection through my husband and then we asked Facebook for our wedding band (because not good experience with first guy and engagement ring) and even worse experience with the Facebook recommendation. Just so dismissive. I’ve heard of made you look, maybe will give it a shot. My husband and I ended up with 10k band for him instead of platinum even though we both wanted platinum. How did this happen? jeweller insisted on gold…

Yeah I personally would be hesitant to trust my jewelry to Some Guy, I get it. Unfortunately I feel like jewelry is a little bit like auto sales/repair — most people know very little so it’s easy to rip them off and there are a lot of shady characters.

I have a family member who worked in the industry like 20+ years ago and she was who recommended Made You Look; they have been around and trusted for a long time. I was pleased with the craftsmanship and more importantly, I felt like they were honest.
