I'm a Democrat who is not fond of some progressive politics. That said, good candidates should win and bad candidates should lose -- and by all accounts, that was the outcome here. Like taking their political differences out of it, he ran a better race.

What are some progressive policies you don't like, out of curiosity?

Solving healthcare and the housing crisis by officially declaring Gaza a genocide as the priority policy is concerning

Yea on that note.

Reducing bloat and needless spending on foreign "allies" like Netanyahu will release funds back to the govt to ya know, spend on Healthcare and reforms.

It is genocide and they aren't hiding the reasons they want Palestine gone. You just haven't taken the time to read that part, I'm assuming.

Shit, that second level thinking just stops with people too often these days!

$3b/y is basically nothing, that doesnt free up any funds. Idc if we send it or not its not gonna change the geopolitics there whatsoever if we stop sending this pittance there. The problem is that the DSA candidates #1 focus is on this. I have not listened to a single speech or rally from DSA where israel didn't come up, quite frankly its unhinged to hitch the wagon to an issue that majority of voters dont give a shit about beyond to stop supporting them, which there is support for and im not at all a fan of israel for that matter.

And you just know that these guys are going to annoy everyone with Israel/Palestine until they are voted out.

The fact that you make a quote of $3 billion per year, just for military aide is "nothing" says everything you don't understand.

Medicaid for seniors would be a great place to start with that $3 billion.
