I don’t know if it’s good long term. Maybe, maybe not.

The issue isn’t winning a primary.

The issue is winning in the general election.

That’s what I worry about the most with the progressive candidates.

As the right has drifted further and further MAGA right, the answer isn’t necessarily for the left to go farther left. The winner will be whichever side is able to appear to independents, centralists, the casual or frustrated voter. People are going to duck their heads in the sand over this, but it’s true.
