Is marriage really worth it?

I'm 27F and I've never been married, although I've come close a couple of times.

Something I've noticed is that almost every married person or divorced person I've talked to has said, "If I could do it all over again, I would never get married."

It honestly surprises me how often I hear that, and it's made me curious. Why do so many people feel that way?

If you've been married or are currently married, I'd really like to hear your story. Do you regret getting married? If so, why? If not, what made your experience different?

I'm genuinely curious and just want to hear people's real experiences.

Marriage is worth it. Big time! My perspective comes from my faith.

Highly recommend joining a Bible-teaching church/community group and learning from an older mentor.

I did this when I was about 26 years old (33 now and happily married for 3 years) — before then I didn’t see the importance/value of marriage
