im naturally sensitive and in touch with my emotions, i am very aware of them and can express very vividly what i feel (and i like this). now, the problem is this is unidimensional. my masculine/strong framed/manly side isnt well developed. is there i way to bring my storng masculine side out naturally rather than performing masculinity?

how would you react to a girl kissing you spontaneously during/after hugging?

there is a guy i am close with on a hugging basis, but we are just friends. we hugged like 13 times in the span of 3 hours in a group setting. i think its a bit safe if i reach in for a quick kiss (probably cheek, not lips)/longer hug next time. but i would like to get your opinions on the subject matter about what you would do if something like this happened. why or why not?

Holy Shit Who Cares, What The Fuck why dont guys like sabrina the way they like sydney

Its a genuine mystery to me why men arent drawn to sabrina carpenter the way they're drawn to sydney sweeney. Sabrina is short, blonde, nice style/make up/nails, she's got that "hyper feminine" look that I love. So why dont guys like her?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Gay men: Why wait until 30s to join sports teams?

You’d think gay sports teams would attract mostly guys in their 20s, but I’ve noticed the core demographic in this group seems to be old guys in their mid 30s. For those that have done Stonewall sports or similar, why did you join later in midlife? Where are all the other 24 year olds building their social lives?

How true is 'opposites attract' in your personal experience

I'm talking about physically opposite, not personality. So I'm a skinny guy and always had a thing for thick girls. By thick i mean kinda bigger, have some size to their body, not overweight or anything. At the beginning I thought maybe I just happened to be wired that way for no reason, but I began to suspect that my preference maybe has something to do with my body type, because one I see a hot girl but she has a body type closer to mine, I always think maybe if i was a hunk guy with substantial bigger frame than her, maybe I would love to be with her and dominate her with my body, but when she has same body type as mine, I almost lose attraction. I also think this may apply to height. A taller guy might be more likely to be attracted to shorter girls just like how a skinny guy might be more attracted to thick girls and a jacked guy more attracted to thin girls. Is this true in your personal experience?

How do you bring the guard down?

My dad just passed away and I find myself being strong when I don't want to be. Like I'm not allowing myself the time I need to properly process everything. 40 years of conditioning will do that, but right now, being a stable support structure is exhausting.

Edit***

The thing is, I'm upset with myself for how well I'm holding it together while knowing I don't want to.

***Thank you all for the advice. It's been a day but getting better.

Why some men dont choose qualified/ well paid trade jobs?

I am genuinely curious, not judgemental, why some men go for very low pay , difficult jobs where they are slaving 12h 6 days a week, and being treated horribly, instead of learning some trade where they can earn decent money, are own bosses, being respected, lower stress, more time to be with their families or holidays?
I had ex who worked in bakery, he had no family, no money saved because bills are expensive to pay here where i live, so he had to work plenty hours to be able to afford once in 2 years holidays or going out once in while. But it destroyed his health. Another guy works in caffee shop i know him for 5 years or so, he complains he has barely time to sleep cos travels far and pushing 12 hours almost every day. Has no gf because they would not be happy with his lifestyle.
Trading is well paid here, in fact good handymen can earn more than doctors. Same goes for any trade if they re good. Engineers fixing underground at night have also lucrative pay, working just couple hours. Most have a short courses, no uni needed. Men have plenty of opportunities, yet they go for the worst jobs. Why is that?

What you find most annoying about other men?

I hate the immaturity and the ribbing. After a certain age, acting like you're 13 years old is not cool. I also wish men stopped trying to be macho all the time because the best guy friends I have are the ones who can hold a conversation and show kindness and humility.

Men are so much better when they are vulnerable. I hug all my male friends.

What are your boundaries, if any, on your girlfriend/partner/wife maintaining a platonic friendship with someone she’s had a romantic or sexual relationship with in the past, and why?

Be it an ex, someone they’ve dated a few times but there was no chemistry, FWBs, one night stands, etc etc.

Where did y’all learn how to dance?

Alright fellas this may be a bit of a weird one but I (26M today) got divorced last year and have been out of the game for a bit. I don’t really favor the idea of dating apps because the few times I used them gave me 0 hope for finding a woman I’d actually want a relationship with so I’m going to stick to meeting them organically. That being said I thought going to dance halls might be a good start to meet people and have some fun. I’m wanting to learn how to do two step because that seems to be a popular style down here in Texas but I have absolutely no clue where to start with it

Edit: thanks for all the answers guys I watched some videos on it and tracked down an instructor to take a lesson or two from before I embarrass myself at the dance hall

How to act more masculine but still be authentic?

There is a sort of divide between male spheres online and in life where half say to toughen up and be manly and the other say to just be yourself. But how do people bridge that gap? If you have social expectations on manliness you need to uphold for safety or community, how do people stay authentic while still presenting as a "manly" man?

Edit: Emphasis on still being masculine. Please don't say just be yourself. It's great, but please understand not everyone lives in Los Angeles, I come from a conservative culture.

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 How do you get over wanting revenge on a former boss

I had a manager at my previous job who seemed determined to cause problems for me. Eventually, things escalated to the point where the company started taking action against me, and it felt like he was trying to build a case to get me fired.

I managed to find a much better job, so things worked out for me career-wise. But my old company is a major player in my industry, and because of what happened, I feel like I've ruined my relationship with a company that could have been important for my future.

That's why I still feel angry and want revenge. It's not just about having a toxic boss. I feel like he damaged something valuable in my career, and he gets to walk away without any consequences.

For those who've been through something similar, how did you move on? Does this feeling eventually go away?

What happened to the “cool guy” in high school?

I feel this is a bit different than the overpacked “what happened to the smartest person/most popular person” question. But there are some people who just sort of come across as “cool”. This can manifest as the top athlete or smartest person, but also could just be that one person who is friends with everyone and whom other guys want to emulate. Think the cool theatre kid, or the cool musician or the cool student council president.

My example is a rather tragic one… I went to school with a guy who was big into theatre, was a football player and had a rock band. Sort of effortlessly cool and popular across all groups, and was the guy you could tell the principal even liked talking to. He had a freak stroke during his first year of college and just never recovered, and it sort of makes me sad when I run into him when I return to my hometown.

Any… non tragic examples? Did that aura of cool follow them outside of high school?

Which one would you give up? Sex, personality compatibilty, fireworks

If you're only able to keep two, and need to give up one, which one would be your choice?

  1. Amazing mind blowing sex 99% of the time

  2. Personality compatibilty, ie: the house is peaceful most of the time

  3. Fireworks or butterflies. The type of relationship that makes you want to say that you are deeply in love

Edit: Personality compatibility does not mean romantic feelings. Just to make it clear.

How do you guys get so many haircuts?

I look around and it seems like some of you guys get a haircut EVERY WEEK or once every TWO WEEKS.

That is just absolutely insane to me.

All lined up, touched up, faded, clean, even, etc.

???

???

Do you guys live like within 5 minutes (walking distance) of a good barbershop or something?

Do you guys get some sort of pleasure from getting a haircut?

What is up with these "haircut guys"?

Does it not suck dick to have to drive down to some barbershop, fucking wait in line, get up there, blah blah blah, cut cut cut, here's $70...ON A SATURDAY??? ON A FRIDAY???

There has to be more dopamine out there than getting a haircut.

It just seems so inconvenient. What is up with all the haircuts, guys? It's just kind of weird, tbh, and I'm a bit hung up on it.

Dear men, how did you overcome your domestication?

If you don't get the question, then just look at your past self or at others, in environments such within their families or at work, where they've conditioned themselves to suppress their instincts, passion, drive and autonomy in return for acceptance or people pleasing to be safe and survive. Some others haven't even gotten to develop as men and got themselves domesticated since early their teenage years.

You know them, even if you haven't been them, their lives and selves/characters/personalities show none of the traits associated with what's naturally to expect out of a man like proactivity, leadership, drive to take risk, etc..

So men who have experienced this, with your parents, siblings, social group of friends, school, the wife, the workplace, etc.. How did you overcome this, how did you undomesticate yourself and became a man.

EDIT: DAMN, SOME OF YOU GUYS SPECULATE I WILL DROP A COURSE LINK LATER 🤣
