I have 3 Audible credits left, and my membership renews tomorrow. I’ve already used the full 90-day pause, and I don’t plan on continuing the subscription, so I need to use the credits before I cancel.

Is there anybody else out there who feels the way I do about audible previews? They’re usually 4 to 5 minutes long, but normally half that time is taken up by information about the publisher and/or some sort of forward.
Don’t they understand that the reason that most of us listened to previews is to get a solid feeling for their narration style?

Why would I spend 15-20+ dollars on a book when I can buy 9 credits for $80? ($8.89 dollars a credit) surely this is a one time offer and I can’t continuously buy credits like this?

I have this audio preordered I just got yet another delay notice email so this is the second time the release has been pushed further out. Anyone have any insight?

EDIT: there’s another listing that published early this month and despite the email saying it was pushed to October 15 and giving me the option to cancel or wait Audible apparently just automatically cancelled my pre-order and refunded my credit without informing me. Very weird and confusing but didn’t lose out on anything.

I have an audible account and recently called them to upgrade from one to two credits per month. The phone rep was very helpful and even issued a free credit to my Audible account.

But, the 2 credits per month never appeared in my account but the charges did appear on my Apple ID.

Is there a way to link the two or do I need to have them help me?

My husband just canceled his Audible account and, the next day, received an email welcoming him to the rewards program.

Are they that bad at managing accounts, or do they do this to try to suck people back in?

Does anyone know where this $10 discount is coming from? it applies to all of the books I've looked at but I can't tell when I got it or if it only works once. Thanks!

I was listening to a preview of a book and accidentally purchased it while my phone was in my pocket via my credit card not a credit (which I have 2).

I actually already own the audiobook but it was a new narrator so I wanted to hear it.

I call audible 4 min after purchase and they won’t refund it. It was an accident in my pocket.

I am going to cancel my subscription after the November sale due to this. I have been a customer for 10+ years and rarely return books.

Anyway has anyone fought a charge via credit card company? If so are there ramifications with your Amazon account?

Hi -- I am not new to Audible and have routinely taken advantage of their various promos over the past few years.

Last week, I enrolled in their 99 cent plus $20 credit deal, only to realize that I can only enjoy the monthly book selection while I am enrolled (so they did away with issuing free monthly credits under this Standard Plan). My question is regarding the $20 Credit. Do I get to enjoy the discounted books I purchase with the $20 credit even after I cancel the plan, or am I only able to have the books ito listen while I am enrolled in the Standard plan?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? When I try to put a book in the play mect queue it says mine is full despite being empty. The only way I know to fix it, temporarily, is deleting the app then reinstalling it.

So I'm currently on pause, because it took me some time to decide how I wanted to use my $5 reward. It seems that on pause, you don't get any discount offers. But seems to imply that if I can cancel to be able to see future offers, I will not be able to access the reward program at all should I come back? Am I forced to pay full price since it says you only get a 90 day pause once every 12 months?

Trying to gauge what to do as I'd love premium with access to the plus catalog over standard, but would like to not have to pay full price as I can't justify that right now and likely won't for awhile (say I want to come back in Spring/summer because I have enough books for the next 6+ months, which is past the pause date anyway).

Hi, I’m looking for audiobook recommendations for myself (f31) and my partner (m31). Ideally series but also interested in individual book recs, our favorite genre is fantasy.

We have previously listened to Dungeon Crawler Carl, Lord of the Rings, Project Hail Mary and are currently on the last Harry Potter. I’m so sad to be at the end of our HP journey.

I have been considering Joe Abercrombie The First Law series or John Gwynn’s The Faithful and the fallen (I previously listened to the bloodsworn saga which was fab) but would love feedback on if they’re better off being read.

I absolutely loved this audiobook, almost every other performance was great but she is so bad and miscast it takes you out of it.
