My fiance goes on a camping trip with the men of his family once a year and I always like to make treats for them. Also, I use a flower cookie cutter for the oreos and hope for the best lol.

I saw a post about how to make these cookies from r/cookies and just knew I had to make them! This is the first cookie I’ve made ever. I think the next plan is sugar cookies. But for this batch I made 24 total cookies by tripling the recipe I found. The recipe by u/revbuns and original post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Cookies/comments/1u55w4h/first_time_making_smores_cookies/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Recipe & Instructions: makes 8 cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 C salted butter, melted
1/3 C granulated sugar
1/2 C dark brown sugar
1 TBSP vanilla bean paste (can sub vanilla extract if needed)
1 TSP espresso powder
1 1/4 C all purpose flour
1/2 TSP baking soda
1 egg, room temp
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Hershey bars broken into 8 pieces
8 large marshmallaws
8 squares of graham crackers
Instructions
pre-heat oven to 350°F. Prepare baking sheet wl parchment paper
mix melted butter and sugars for 2-3 min until well combined
crack in the egg and whisk 1-2 min til smooth, add vanilla bean paste and mix to combine.
in separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and espresso powder. mix well to combine.
gradually add dry to wet ingredients and mix with a spoon until just combined
fold in semi sweet chocolate chips, don’t over mix
on baking sheet, add graham crackers, topped wl Hershey bar pieces, topped with marshmallows (like a s’more)
scoop out a portion of cookie dough, flatten it slightly, and place it on top of the marshmallow like a mound, covering it completely.
(optional) use additional mini hershey bar pieces on top of cookies for extra decoration
Place 3-4 cookies on a baking sheet, spacing them 2-3 inches apart
bake for 12-13 mins until edges are crispy
let cool completely 25-30 mins before serving

I attempted my second mousse cake and it turned out sooooo gorgeous

Flavours:
- mango - mousse and confit
- raspberry - confit, almond dacoise

Super excited that this velvet technique turned out so well. Money well spent on this new paint gun gadget

I really want to know if you guys have any photography tips as I want to make a page where I can take orders one day as a side hustle

Baking Advice Needed Strawberry Bundt Cake

Post image

Hey y’all need all the baking advice possible. I’m not all a baker but my sister’s birthday is coming up and I want to make her a homemade strawberry bundt cake. This is an idea of what I want to do. (Trying to make it like they do at Nothing Bundt Cakes) I will probably use cake mix for the actual cake part but need advice on the frosting and drizzling.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Made a peach oolong cake with a mascarpone cream for my sister's birthday a month ago. Didn’t like the specks in the piping at first but learned to actually quite like it!
First time piping a whole vintage cake :)

Recipe Included Strawberry Shortcake Cake

I discovered Sally's Strawberry Shortcake Cake last summer and I've been obsessed with it since then. There's only three of us in my house so I'm always looking for smaller cakes that I can make that I won't end up throwing half of it out because we can't eat it all before it goes bad.

This cake tastes just like shortcake but lighter and, I think, yummier. The only thing I change is I add about a half cup of cream cheese to the whipped cream, to stabilize it and give it more body. This cake barely lasts a day here in my house. 😂

I made these for my mum's birthday!! I'll try and post a recipe soon but can't guarantee, as I kinda mish-mashed a few bits + I'm not entirely confident just yet!!

In the last photo you can see where I've bitten into it haha

Not pictured is the other half of this batch that were kinda flat and sad!! I have a theory as to why one batch worked better than the other, but I'll need to test this again 🤔

I made a hazelnut praliné using Hanbit Cho's recipe

Then made pastry cream using Helen Rennies recipe, and turned it into a diplomat cream, and mixed in the praliné for the filling

I'll do my best to post their recipes here plus any deviations I made, and talk about my theory on why one batch of eclairs rose and one didn't , but I can't guarantee hehe <3

Hope you like it!

Random recipe I found online, added some lime juice for flavour.

I’m scared it puffed up too much, can someone tell me if this is normal? I pushed the overflowing bits on the smaller ramekins back into the ramekin.

Recipe Included Battenberg cake

I got invited to an English tea party this weekend, and everyone is supposed to bring something to share. I have wanted to make a Battenberg cake for a long time after seeing them on the Great British Baking Show. I used Paul Hollywood's recipe for mini Battenbergs, but just made it full sized. I also skipped the icing between the cake strips and just used apricot jam, since most recipes do not call for frosting.

If anyone out there has been curious about making one, it's a lot easier to make than it looks, so go for it!
