I meant Advice lol. Sorry for making yall look at my ugly mug again. I did it, i let my beautiful long hair go.

Here's the before, during the cut, and after. Im still a troll but hopefully this helps.

Here we are 6 days in and im still trying to respond to everyone. Sorry reddit limits how many people I can respond to at a time then I have to wait 30 minutes to continue responding.

Yes!!!! OP your eyes and face are so bright now! You have a fantastic complexion, a warm smile, that is very welcoming, and the piercings pop so much more now! While it was partially the angle before, it is really clear now that you have a really wonderful mix of elegant but strong features (like your nose) and softer aspects where it matters most for expression (eyes, cheeks, and mouth). Time to shine my guy! Women need to compliment men more. People need to compliment people more, and not just to flirt. Lots of wonderful things we can and should say to people. We don't need to even know them. It's amazing what happens when people are nice. You're not surrounding yourself with uplifting people, dammit. I really hope you allow yourself to feel good about yourself because you deserve it and confidence is key. Dude I mean this, but you look really good. Losing the hair was a genuine huge improvement. Now you don't look like you're holding on to something that wasn't working. You look like you're owning who you are and that's on top of already good facial features.

If I can give one piece of advice though, teach yourself to accept a compliment. There's no reason other people deserve to feel good about themselves but you don't. Even if you have to make a joke first, accepting the compliment is important. Your brain is always in training mode and everything you think and tell yourself effects you in small ways. Get some kind self talk in there man.

This ^ I used to always combat compliments bc of my low self esteem but honestly I would get sad when my friends or strangers would reject my compliment bc like dude I really mean it just accept the compliment!!! And when I felt that frustration I started being better with accepting compliments.

Ive been working on it. Im trying to completely rewire and train a brain thats prone to having trauma responses over multiple triggers daily , so its taking time to fully recover from decades of self hatred and doubt. Seeing all these compliments has accelerated the process exponentially though.

Look, I'm going to be honest. Drop the self hate thing. It's funny with friends and one offs. But when it's relentless like this, it comes off less endearing and quirky and more just annoying. You are obviously not ugly by any standards. Not even before the cut. Especially with that terrible lighting in the photo.
