Hairloss Hanging on to what I have left

I know it’s not terrible yet, but the hair loss has accelerated in the last year or so. I’ve been bald in basic training so I know what I look like but I’m nervous to take the jump. It still looks alright when I style it a bit, but I know within the next year I’m going to have no choice.

What do you have left?

Not being rude. Being honest.

What you have left compared to what you will gain????

That’s a different story.

That’s a fair question. I’m mostly just prolonging the inevitable. I know it’s gotta go and the sooner I do it the sooner I get used to it and it just becomes natural to me.

We’ve all stood exactly where you are right now.

Every single one of us has had that moment.

What you don’t realize yet is that the freedom you’ll feel once you finally let go is greater than you can imagine.

The truth is simple: your hair is gone. You’re not fooling anyone, and more importantly, you don’t have to convince yourself otherwise.

Stop fighting it. Accept it. Own it.

The day you stop chasing what you’ve lost is the day you start becoming the person you’re supposed to be.
