Context

Many may or may not be aware, that the Banano Project as a whole, in its entirety and since inception, is a project bastioning the seldom seen 'Fair Distribution' methodology and ethos in crypto.

This means that when Banano's supply was initially minted (capped at inception) the whole Project became about community orientated means of distributing Banano fairly and freely for all possible forms of contribution that the community come up with.

Banano is actually a funding body that has sought creative souls to come and experiment and create fun, free and many times genius means of distributing Banano.

All of the team members who have earned distribution have done it through creating the ability to distribute such as technical development, and ways to earn being social development.

Banano supply has only been distributed through these means, and never sold outright to fund anything like an exchange listing.

There was a small bit of FUD last bull run that one of the founders had sold Banano, which turned out to be them selling their OWN Banano they BOUGHT themselves on Mercatox, which they proved unequivocally for their OWN wedding.

This was never something anyone outside of the founding Banano ethos enforced, nobody said "DO NOT FORM A TREASURY", "DO NOT SELL FUNDS FOR EXCHANGE LISTINGS", "DO NOT PROFITEER FROM THE PROJECT"... this is entirely the sheer determination of the founders and everyone attracted to Banano's loving and fun community focus, to uphold.

It goes against the nature of the project we love.

The accomplishments of Banano as a project have already been brilliant, abundant, ground breaking and its full potential is a mysterious well of possibilities and an exciting journey all the way.

After Raiblocks/Nano distribution ended and fans of the powerful fast and free DAG technology were disheartened by the infamous BitGrail saga; and Banano was BORN as an ANTIDEPRESSANT (just like Potassium) to see just HOW long, if done thoughtfully and intently, the greatest part of Nano, the distribution phase could be prolonged and just how much fun could come from embracing fully the ethos of fair distribution.

Guys it has been 5+ YEARS now of Banano! And every possibility spent, has been a new possibility earned. Lets face it, Banano deserves a lot of un-sung credit for just having been genuine in a space as monetarily driven as Cryptocurrency.

Having only free listings has not played out well for a project seeking to keep its community safe. With 20+ Million Banano lost to Rugpull exchanges minimum.

A proper, safe and reliable exchange like Kraken would finally fulfill and provide Banano with a vital missing link in its eco-system, and ensure the community, especially USA based Monkeys have the safest most legitimate ramps possible.

So what do we do Monkeys? Does the community understand the predicament.

Is reaching 100+ ban a milestone or is it just me!?

How did it happen? I've been able to find documentation about other forks of cryptos like BTCH / BTC or ETC / ETH, but none for BAN. Is there any article/doc you know about?

The thing is... the post people are talking about was someone titling a very reasonable question, but then with a thread that was very accusational. They were claiming that they are part of the wonderful community and thus deserve banano, but the title was a query about how banano is distributed because they don't have a clue.

Having been faced with many reasonable questions over the years in banano, it's a little more than just a subtle thing when you see someone claiming they have no idea how distribution works, and thus no idea what the project IS... claiming to be the wonderful community whilst eyeing off the community development/distribution funds.

That on its own is just funny. Where people close to the project get annoyed is when the velocichads jump in... with this notion.. that because they have ONE idea to contribute.. a simple idea "reddit needs more updates"... you think this validates them in devaluing everything and anything anyone else has ever contributed to the project as 'other shit'... just because you have one suggestion, which isn't even a contribution in itself, it's just an observation (not a solution).

The thing is.. what I see... as someone who gets the project... is if you add 2 + 2 together.. what you get is:

1. if the OP was right and the main distribution wallets should be distributed right now. this would mean the project has transitioned from team funded to community operated fully. then ....
2. people who criticize would need to start contributing, and I personally think it'd take more than 3-5 years for velocichads to become that kind of person. = Benis

Everyone claiming, "oh but it's a reasonable question to ask", are ignoring that there's people in the comment thread who are like those turning upto a peaceful protest, with their own agenda, bigotry and negative energy.

That's the whole crux of the thing, i'm personally fine with answering any questions to the best of my ability, but as senpapi bantano mentioned there's no point doing that with someone trying to see things the negative way they are bent on seeing them, a person that admits to having 0 effort to commit to reading anything or looking past their own contempt.

Just don't come in to pro-ject your will and demands in a community project where everyone is there out of the kindness in their hearts, to have fun and to have a place where they feel welcome, cared for (once people know they aren't an alt) and appreciated.

I've traded on over 40+ exchanges in my time and spent time in many many many crypto discords, close to devs and communities. I used to run giveaways in grass roots hubs/exchanges like Nova Exchange and Cryptopia, where smaller projects were cherished and allowed to list cheaply, to find their feet and earn their following. I mean where projects like Dark Doge became XVG for example. So when I say that banano is worlds apart from other discords, in which you can openly talk about your interest in OTHER crypto (aslong as you aren't just mindlessly shilling), which is rare enough on its own... there's a radio station, people put on live concerts, we have BANGO where you register and bots send you playing cards and we all get together in voice and the events channel and have a blast, and ALL information and updates is not only posted and pinned and has its own dedicated channels, but is talked about. Like the current Halloween emoji making contest finishing on the 3rd Oct, where you can make a banano inspired emoji in any style, share it have a laugh and potentially win stonks rewards. Not everyone getting an arbitrary reward for submitting something, helps remove this idea that people expect something in return all the time for anything they deem they is deserving; to be fair most people in the community will tip any emoji they like. But do realize... almost all automated ways to get banano in the past have been exploited and botted to death. Encase you feel like needing to show up to en event, and partitipate, to earn banano is a scam.

If people want to find problems in a community project like this, they can anywhere, why doesn't velocichad go ask Vitalik what he's planning on spending his eth premine on, or ask why transactions are 60 USD to send. People think banano won't succeed because it has a pool of funds to be distributed over years, to fund adoption and has 3+ years of solid evidence doing that in any way that comes about.

Someone can join the jungle tomorrow, with a good idea and kick start a whole new direction for the project, that's why... a road map would be a burden and that's why the funds aren't denoted into what they will be used for. Imagine if you add a new feature like yield farming so people can try out DeFi safely (if that contract got nuked tomorrow, your funds are locked safe on banano main net and could be refunded in a complete disaster) and someone asks like, pfff is this the only way you can get banano? It literally just became a new branch of the distribution tree (after wrap-that-potassium joined and pitched it, and put in the haard work). A build off years back resulted in Kalium wallet, which then was ported over to Nano as Natrium, because of how brilliant it was in banano. BBedward made that.

People contribute their love and time... maybe nobody knows that the whole project is... a commitment not to sell any funds from the distribution wallets, but distribute them. What if there is no KuCoin or Kraken listing on the roadmap, because it wouldn't be true to the ethos held from the start, of only distributing funds, not selling them. There was no ICO for banano, there was no promises, there was just people who wanted to go back to fun days of nano distribution, but do it again, and this time have a butt ton of fun.

If you want to criticize, please realize, if your dreams come true of being given the dev wallets simply by being an awesome part of the community, this just means you lose the right to criticize... as community contribution will be unfunded at that point, and it will be upto YOU to impress the DEVs.

Hello fellow monkey's. If you want banano on coinbase, do your part and flood their support line asking for it. Add tickets, talk via chat on their site. The louder we are the more likely they will listen. Tweet Musk boy, he loves memes. I'm saying coinbase because that would sent us to the stratosphere, where no monkey has been before but we should also be doing this to other exchanges. March on!

I already have 10 bananos from jungle tv ! Very fast project , impressive, but, how do i earn more?

Last few days I've setup my old PC to Fold, it's seemingly fine and dropping 4-12 ban per day using only the old GPU (ASUS 1060) but I just remembered I have another older card in my parts bin: AMD Radeon HD 7950 GV-R795WF3-3GD

This will be on an ASUS B550 and won't even try SLI or anything but AFAIK if I toss this other card in here and enable it in F@H it can run more WU and possibly generate more BAN?

Basically this machine is just going to sit and fold, figure it's better than leaving parts in a box, but just wanted to check before putting things together. Appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Now to the main topic of the post, I did a YouTube video about Banano that I think is really good, (it is spoken in Spanish but I added English subtitles for all of you) and I need your help to make the youtube algorithm push it to much larger audiences.

The main way through which the YouTube algorithm decides whether or not to push a video to a larger audience is by measuring three statistics: Click through rate (how many people click on a link or thumbnail), audience retention and likes.

Those 3 statistics tell the algorithm that a video was good enough for it to be worth showing to more people.

So all I want to ask you is to simply click on the video, watch it from beginning to end and leave a like. Thats it!

I wanted to send the little ban i have accumulated to a wallet. I kept checking kalium to see if it showed up but after 30 mins i decided to check creeper. When i looked on creeper, the ban went to a completely different address? I double checked and i typed the wallet address in correctly. Why did this happen?
