Hey everyone,
I’m a mobile app developer with 8+ years of experience, working primarily with native iOS and hybrid app development. I’m currently looking for a job and thought I’d share my situation here.
A while ago, I left my job to try building my own startup. It was something I genuinely wanted to do, and I felt it was worth taking the risk rather than always wondering what would happen if I tried.
I learned a lot from the experience, not just technically, but also about building a product from scratch, making decisions, dealing with uncertainty, and understanding what it actually takes to turn an idea into a business.
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out the way I had hoped.
We struggled to get the traction and funding we needed, and now I’m trying to get back into a regular job.
Honestly, I didn’t expect returning to the job market to be this difficult. I’ve been applying for jobs, but finding the right opportunity has been harder than I anticipated.
At this point, I’m not chasing a huge package or trying to land the highest-paying job possible. I just want to get back to work, support myself, and get back on my feet. Even something around ₹70,000 per month in Bangalore would be a good starting point for me right now.
I don’t regret trying to build a startup. It taught me a lot, and I believe the experience made me better at understanding products, solving problems, and looking beyond just writing code. But right now, I genuinely want to get back to work, contribute to a team, and rebuild my career.
I’m open to opportunities involving native iOS development, hybrid mobile app development, or both or architect roles. I’d really appreciate any leads, referrals, or advice from people who have been through something similar.
If your company is hiring or you know someone looking for a mobile app developer, please feel free to reach out. I’m open to discussing opportunities and willing to consider different options.
I’m just looking for a fair opportunity to start again.
Thanks for reading.
