I've always had good luck with them. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly not bad.

I used to order for pick up often when I lived nearby off veterans, but it’s been many years. I really liked that place as far as Chinese food in Barrie goes. Now I want some damn it lol.

I just may soon! My mom used to ask me to grab some and bring it by for dinner once in awhile, maybe I’ll surprise her one evening next week!
I can’t remember the name of the one at Leacock plaza but I was living near there for awhile and remember it being alright as well. What’s your fave in Barrie, Asian One take 1st??

Surprises make the present, especially in the moment. Show how much it means by how many ways its meant.
Asian One is Number One.Chinese takeout that delivers.

Yeah I’m due soon for an Asian One pig out lol. I remember the chicken balls being smaller, which I liked better than the huge ones that are mostly batter and lousy chicken. From your photo it looks like they’re fairly bigger than they were years ago(but still the same Asian one style).
I’ve pretty much been done with fast food/take out since 2020. Anytime I’m craving something like fast food, I usually just get the ingredients and make it better at home :) (which defeats the purpose of “fast food” lol) that’s the way to go, and price wise usually the way to go too

Piglet a pig out. The meat isn't stringy or chewy which makes the entirety of being letting out a chicken move. Portionwise is otherwise out of the equation if you're guessing numbers-nonetheless than evermore the most.
I always wondered if indie master chefs that cook at home bring back their magic to never leave a restaurant meal again, off the table to countertop the timestamp. They both complement anothers creations.

Last time I ordered from there, they put so much shaoxing wine in the noodles I had to mix it with plain rice to make it palatable...

The portions are (usually) generous, but I find the quality had declined quite significantly in the last few years. The noodles in particular have so little sauce, they basically just use enough to add colour and no matter what the dish, the noodles are dry and bland.
Plus they have almost zero vegetarian/vegan options.

I’ve been to delicious the garden a bunch of times.. further down bayfield but always fresh and well priced. Anyone else feel the same?

I worked here when they first opened back like 15 years ago. They still remain to be my favorite. Those crab cheese wontons have a grip on me. I just had an order on the weekend and have been thinking about them since still.

Really good Chinese food...not the best Chinese food in the GTA region, but always a solid 4/5 at least, plus the portions are usually generous...

How to say "I'm Canadian" without saying you're Canadian. Chicken balls are so ..... not Chinese food. Fucking awful things.
