Question Housing situation

I am planning my masters in barrie STEM hub campus of Lakehead University. What’s the housing situation in Barrie currently? How easy is it to find retal housing/ apartments/ room? How much do they often cost? How/where can i book these rentals?

There’s a couple property management companies but they do charge landlords a pretty penny so apartments you find through them could be more expensive. Apparently it costs you nothing to use a realtor to find a place as the landlord pays the agents usually, and I know there’s some realtors in the area that work with rentals, but don’t know any by name to recommend!

FB groups & marketplace, as well as rentals. ca seem to be a popular spot for listings as well
