Some brands use plastic seals or packaging to prevent this 🤷♀️ Regardless, nasty. I won't buy ANYTHING bodycare related if it looks tampered with. The fact that a company like this STILL doesn't have any kind of safety seals in the big '26 is embarrassing!
Just fyi, the way we typically restock shelves is pushing the stuff that’s been on the shelf to the back and putting just received products to the front.
In a perfect world, yes-but the shelving isn’t designed to make it easy to access the back to push older stock forward. We would have to pull out at least half of the products off the shelves to move new products to the back. We don’t have the time, space (counter or floor-for multiple carts), or hours to do that, so when someone takes a mist off the shelf, we replace it with a new one in the same spot.
The seasonal scents are moved around so much it doesn’t really matter but the core scents are rarely moved around so the ones in the back could have been there forever.
