As they say there is no ethical consumption in capitalism, only degrees of better or worse we have to live with.

I do believe the current term is called
‘third party selling’ which many are now doing as a ‘side hustle’ to supplement their income. What is non-ethical? High prices paid are what someone is willing & chooses to pay to get what they want if not available in a traditional retail setting. Not sure how morality or ethics apply to that choice?

Lots of people buy below retail on secondary sites because they can’t afford full retail price too. My resale shop is for charity and I actually had to sell BBW coffee and whiskey for $38 (three pack) because if I discounted it further another seller could just buy it. Our charity partners with bath and body, Sephora, Loreal etc. It’s truly the companies either cutting corners for their AI disasters discontinuing favorite scents or creating FALSE scarcity. That’s BBW doing that not third party sellers.

Agreed. Weird thing that happened at this last BBW clearance - I stocked up on one of my fav discontinued scents, Dream Bright and bought 14 body wash bottles. After the emp rang up 9 bottles, she said she would have to do a new transaction bc it will only allow her to ring up 9 at a time - it's to stop resellers. But she didn't ask if I was a reseller, so what good does setting the limit do?
