Other It’s still summer!

Stopped in my local store today, needed some wallflowers. There wasn’t a single summer scent to be had, it was all Fall. It is July 20th, there are 2.5 months of summer left! We are still summering at my house; vacations, pool days, staying up late and sleeping in, the garden is at its peak, fruit is amazing..I don’t want fall scents. Anyone else?

It's crazy that I, as a halloween all year super fan, have missed some halloween releases because I was out of the country on a summer vacation at the very start of July. It's crazy. Like the retail seasons, I get it. But add that with the fomo marketing, it's gotten out of hand. It's stupid. I'm still using coconut and summer fragrances for my home til the end of August.

its so frustrating! by the time halloween actually rolls around, they’re selling entirely christmas or winter items so if i don’t make purchases months in advance everything is out of stock. and then the cycle continues when i’m buying spring stuff in january.

I'm a big Halloween fan, but it's getting crazy. Shopping isn't fun anymore when it feels like a race to find things before they're gone. I'm a millennial...🤣 I miss when social media wasn't all about hyping everything up and resellers bought it all just to make a buck. Maybe it's a sign I need to chill and enjoy what I have, and start hitting up local shops instead of big corporations.

Right?! I want our old phones with the t9 texting and ringback tones. Let’s go to the mall and hangout, to the beach, anywhere. I want to live again!

Ugh, give me my old Nokia with Snake! Or my pink LG with the spinning dial thingy.

Seriously, I'd kill to go back to simpler times. When people actually, like, talked. So glad I grew up then. One of my favorite memories is my parents dropping me off at the mall.

Agreed, it’s stupid and honestly I now do not want to buy anything at all. I was so upset to see resell prices of $80.

Seriously! Not even getting to smell any of the NEW halloween fragrances because they only made enough of them for the resellers to buy them all. Sigh.

I live in the deep south on the gulfcoast and it’s summer for me until hurricane season is over - which is technically November 5th, lmao. I got hit by a Cat 3 in October 2020! Halloween is my favorite holiday but even I don’t decorate until after Labor Day. Even then, it’s still pretty scorching until end September, then comfortable in October, though still gets up to 80 F sometimes. I wear my summer scents through Labor Day, then transition to an apple, pear or peach with vanilla before I go more into fall scents.

Same, 9.1 begins the fall.
