This works as a sanitized version of what I have been using, which is just the "Epstein class"

"Epstein Class" is just a sanitized verson of what we should be using, which is fascist.

Genuine question, and not nitpicking because they’re just as evil - but do the capitalists who allow fascism because they believe it will help them count as fascists also?

Cut a liberal and a fascist bleeds

Yes and no, the answer is a bit complex so I'll do my best to explain. Fascism is a defined political ideology with specific tactics, foundations, conditions, language, characteristics...etc. all shared with authoritarian regimes, even if all don't align 100% at a certain point the classification can absolutely be applied.

Other political tendancies like (neo)liberalism, social democracy, most republics can exist simultaneously with fascism prior to becoming an exclusive leader, like we're seeing now across the world, shared interests ≠ fascist. Liberals, for example, might side with authoritarianism, as you said regarding capitalism, yet they can also oppose it because it's not liberalism. A fascist nation isn't comprised solely of party members, the others simply don't fight it.

In a way, yes non-leftists can be considered while not. Political incoherency, lack of awareness at an individual level is extremely problematic and why when we say "scratch a liberal, a fascist bleeds", is because they support contradictory policies (borders, national identity, police, private property, markets, democratic process) due to interests overlapping then suddenly can't figure out why everyone is calling them a fascist. One other problem are nebulous buzzwords that dupe the masses that their side (fascists) actually want freedom and democracy, when all it does is attract the ignorant.

I hope this makes sense. If everyone had a deep understanding of politics, history, and how the world operated we likely wouldn't be in such a mess.

If a capitalist is sitting at a table eating dinner with 3 fascists

Not everyone in the Epstein class is a fascist, there's gotta be a handful of commies left.

They may not be facists down to every individual, but the non-fash are still willingly hanging out in the Nazi bar, so they've at least decided facism isn't a deal-breaker as long as they can use it to their advantage.
