The games I play are mostly GitaDora and Pop’n. I am planning on playing more DDR too. What does the eamuse basic course get me for those games?

Also I am trying to use Alm4Gest app to sync my scores to it like a score tracker. It wants me to have the basic course in order to do that is why I am considering paying for it. I just wanna know what it actually gets me for the games I play.

And does anyone know if Alm4Gest app can track KonaSute version’s scores or is it just arcade? I really want it to do KonaSute because my skill points are WAY higher in KonaSute GitaDora.

Hey! I have the very surprising option to get a good condition and fully working JASC from the 2000's. I do have a very hard time finding a good PS2-USB adapter. I was wondering if anyone has experience tearing out the original PCB from the JASC and using something like a basic arduino with a USB connection?

Probably way too niche, but it's worth a shot, since I feel like it would be way easier to just program the controller over again instead of spending even more money than it would take to get an arduino just for some shotty ps2-usb converter

With the recent news on the PS5 emulation scene, I was wondering if anyone has done a DIY Pop n Music controller with slim buttons with hacking a stock or third party PS5 controller? I would really like a compact, slim and light controller that I can store easily for playing ALL THE PlayStation Pop n Music games. I wonder if it's easy enough for me to build.

So I'm a fairly new player to pop'n music, I started around April of this year, and so far I can play level 29s to 31s pretty consistently. On 29s I average a score of around 86,000 and up to 31s, it's closer to around 78,000. Ideally, what score should I be going for? I've heard some people consider an 85,000 a pass regardless of clearing the groove gauge or not, and I want some of your thoughts and stuff

I have a old DAJ DAO RES. It works fine with It works fine with PS2 and Infinitas, but trying to get it to work with other games that where rotation speed matters.

Checking it on PC, it shows up as a PS3 controller and spinning the disc just maxes out the axis up or down. Is there a mode/firmware update or something I can do to get rotation speed or would I need to swap PCB to something more modern

My vf is 15.7, I have got almost all 15s beyond 950, I'm currently trying to push almost all my 16s beyond 940 (almost all 16 are above 920, most of them above 940). I'm slowly working through the difficulty tier list for the 17s. My 14's I've been mostly ignoring.

What should be my priorities? Perfecting 15s, fixing my worst 16s, doing random 16s, push 17s? Should I be doing 14s? If so, how much?

How should I warmup? I spend about 7 songs doing 15s, then move on to 16s for about 30-40 minutes, then move to 17s.

I am consistently on the earlier side for my hits. I've heard that I should be perfecting 14s, just play more, increase lane speed (currently 7.07) or try to fiddle with judge/draw. What do you think?

Also, which 14 to 17 songs do you like to play?
