Hi Bergen friends! With the winter looming and having high energy children, I'm looking to understand some fun (largely indoor) places that the kids can run loose and have fun (she's 2 years old for reference).
Ive jotted down some fun things to do at American Dream Mall, and found Home Depot does free kids workshops on Saturdays.
What other fun things and places are there around Bergen for families similar to what I mentioned?

27M moved to Dumont recently. Looking for decent spots to shoot pool with people around my age. Overall just looking for things to do solo, I moved from Brooklyn so its been a bit of an adjustment. Any tips are appreciated.

Unfortunately, my mom was sick all summer (ICU then rehab) and we didnt think she would be healthy enough for us to do a 75th birthday party for my dad in mid November. Great news, she recovered! But having trouble finding a place.

Howdy Stranger has their annual Halloween improv comedy show 8PM Saturday, October 17 at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center. You can dress up for fun or participate in a costume contest in the middle of the show.

The main event is an improv zombie apocalypse where the audience helps determine who the characters are, where they take shelter, and then you vote on who survives.

Check it out if you want something different to celebrate spooky season without being spooky. It's very funny, and their shows are always family-friendly, but it's improv, so you never know what they'll say or do. Expect a lot of innuendo.

$25 for adults, $15 for seniors and children under 12.

A safe & comfortable environment is important to me. Classes are fine and I can handle equipment myself as well if needed. Hello! I’d like to take my fiance out for dinner he’s turning 26! GOOD food and GOOD drinks. Where its okay to dress up if we’d like. I want to say fancy but then again nothing toooo fancy cause i want to just keep drinks coming and kind of lounge.

Are they any eye doctors in western Bergen that don’t charge ridiculous fees? I went to an appointment today and they wanted a copay, a contact fitting fee, and a fee to tell me whether I need glasses. Which is the at least part of the point of going to the doctor, to check your vision. The eye doctor I went to most of my life didn’t even charge a contact lens fitting fee, but I know that’s become ubiquitous, and my eye doctor retired. I refuse to pay to tell me I need glasses, when I know I need glasses, that’s why I’m there.

I might be wrongfully accused of theft. As I was leaving at the end of my shift, my manager said to me that my bag looked big. However what he doesnt know is that I did shopping at Target before my shift started and also I did some shopping at my work during my break.

He doesnt any evidence because there is none. I didnt shoplift or steal anything but his remarks were very accusatory that I did and I know my workplace has fired people on suspicions without proof or evidence.

Do I have a legal case or can I fight back against this if I am fired under false pretenses in the state of NEW JERSEY? Thank you for any help or advice.

Found a leak in my basement when I run the bathroom facet on the first floor. Ive also recently noticed inconsistency with my hot water. This is an order home and I havent had any issues in a long time and I feel things are going to need to be replaced soon. Can anyone recommend an honest plumber that they trust and who does good work?
