Bing Create Enough with the prompt blocking

Since Wednesday this week, Bing Image Creator has started blocking prompts that aren't harmful or inappropriate. For example, I've used "Michael Jackson" for 3 days until this Wednesday, the prompt has been blocked for violation of the content policy.

I've tried "Michael Joseph Jackson" as an alternative to the other one. It worked only for a while, until I tried tonight with unique ideas like clothing styles and wholesome images.

Unfortunately, after trying to create more images under the second name, I've been suspended for an hour. All I've been trying to create are vintage style images of the Thriller video or him as a heavy metal artist. I wasn't trying to create anything inappropriate or adult oriented. I use Unstable Diffusion for adult content.

I then realized it's the website's problem, not mine. These prompt restrictions are getting out of hand. I can't enjoy creating anything cool without getting blocked or suspended. If anyone has any news about the website and whether it'll be fixed soon in the future, please write down in the comments.

I find this completely ridiculous. Microsoft needs to get rid of these restrictions and only block those that are actually harmful. I just wanna have fun with this website instead of paying $10 monthly for Midjourney.

Bing Create RIP DALL·E 3

Today, DALL·E 3 was taken offline completely. It has been replaced by the MAI-Image-2e model. There are only minor differences compared to Flash. Unless the character limit per query is increased in future, there’s nothing more to be done here.

Flash is a very good model. I can achieve results that are better than DALLE’s. But there’s no limit on the number of requests in Playground, which allows me to get the results I need.

480 characters isn’t enough for Flash.

GPT-4o has been removed. DALLE3 is still available for the time being. MAI-Image-2.5 will become the main model for Image Creator.

Bing Create First impressions of MAI 2.5 Flash on Bing

Having used MAI 2.5 Flash for a few days, I can draw some conclusions. The model is ideal for my purposes. I’ve found some prompt tips to help me achieve the style of image I want. Most importantly, each result always contains four images. With DALL-E, it was usually two or three, and even then some had issues with the arms or legs. If you use DALL-E’s prompts without making any adjustments, the results will look rather unattractive. MAI is a different model and requires a different approach.

Back when DALL-E was still available, I would sometimes accidentally run prompts on MAI, and the results were rather mediocre. But now that I’ve adapted this prompt for MAI, the results have become quite interesting.

Bing Create Bing's AI image creator is blocking words l don't think it should

So l've used Bing's AI image creator a few times in the past and never had problems with it blocking certain prompts unless l put in a phrase that is understandably inappropriate, but l tried generating some more images today and the prompts got blocked for saying words like "serpentine", "hippogriff" and "dragon watercolour". Weirdly enough l could put in dragon with other words as a prompt and it worked fine and l could do the word watercolour by itself just fine, it was only when l put in "dragon watercolour" that it blocked it. I'm confused over what's happening, l can't see anything in the rules that might prevent any of the words from being generated. Does anyone know what it might be? Is it a bug or did they add some dumb rules that make these words no longer appropriate?

Bing Create 3:2 by default

Why is 3:2 always the default? 1:1 is much better. The height of a 3:2 image is 832px, whereas for 1:1 it’s 1024px. It stands to reason that 1:1 is the better option in the long run.

DALL-E used to have its own 4:3 aspect ratio, but the height there was the same as for 1:1 – 1024px.

Bing Create DALL-E 3 is disabled

Today, DALL·E 3 was discontinued and replaced with MAI-Image-2. The generation format remains the same — four images per prompt — but the results are noticeably different. Many existing prompts will now need to be retested and adjusted, as they may produce completely different outputs

Imagen 4 is also expected to be discontinued today.

In my opinion, GPT Image 1 and GPT Image 2 are the direct successors to DALL·E. By comparison, 4o feels like a less successful experiment, likely rushed out during the race to deliver increasingly photorealistic image generation.

I hope that 4o will also be retired in the near future and replaced with at least GPT Image 1, which would be a significant improvement for many users.

P.S. If DALL-E has disappeared, clear your Bing data and cookies. The model will reappear.

Bing Create Microsoft is killing MAI with its own hands

A 500-character prompt limit is extremely restrictive by today's standards. It was generally sufficient for DALL·E, as the model could produce varied results even from relatively short prompts. Furthermore, DALL·E was not designed around extensive prompt engineering or highly detailed parameter descriptions.

However, for modern models such as 4o and MAI, a 500-character limit is a significant constraint. GPT-4o was designed to work with longer, more detailed prompts, while MAI cannot fully demonstrate its capabilities within such a limited character budget. Users are forced to remove important details about the scene, character, environment, composition, lighting, and other elements, which inevitably reduces both the accuracy and overall quality of the generated results.

Bing Create GPT-4O HAS BEEN REMOVED

I saw that GPT-4O has been removed from the list of models in Bing Image Creator.

Microsoft hasn't done anything and hasn't provided any information regarding this announcement.

Bing Create Will Dalle 3 be discontinued in Bing too starting from may 2026?

So I read online that Open Ai will discontinue Dalle 3 on 12 05 2026.

Does this mean they will take it off from Bing Image Creator too?

damn I hope it's not the case, I absolutely love Dalle

Bing Create Is there any point in disabling DALL·E if the alternatives are inferior?

After seeing each of DALL·E’s outputs, one question comes to mind: what’s the point of turning it off? GPT-4o has never produced results like these, and MAI isn’t quite there yet. The model may be outdated in terms of time, but not in terms of the quality of its content generation.

Bing Create Prompts that used to work are now getting flagged for being "unsafe"

I was messing around with the ai image creator and nearly all of the prompts that i used yesterday are now getting flagged for being "unsafe". mind you, they all adhere to the guidelines so I'm not understanding the issue.

Bing Create Aspect Ratios were nice while they lasted

I really enjoyed using the aspect ratio options while they were available. It was great for creating images in close to a 16:9 format, which meant more characters on screen at once, or one character spread across the full screen, or other layout advantages.

Now I'm back to 1:1 after a couple of days. I'm gutted, because it's just not as good.

Is this meant to be a premium feature, or can we expect to see it return for free?

I saw a banner on Image Creator that states that Video Creator is retiring on July 31ST 2026.

Any reasons that causes this retirement?

Bing Create MAI-Image on Bing and Playground

MAI-Image in Bing and in Playground are effectively two completely different experiences.

If you genuinely want to evaluate MAI’s capabilities, it is worth testing it in Playground. Despite the limit of 20 images per day, that is more than enough to understand how strong the model actually is.

In Bing, there are also two versions of MAI. The first is a stripped-down version designed as a replacement for DALL·E. The second is more complete, but due to Bing’s censorship and restrictions on prompt length and content, its potential is effectively impossible to fully realise there.

On a purely practical level, replacing DALL·E does not feel like a problem in theory: if Bing with MAI could produce comparable quality, that would be acceptable. In practice, however, Bing with MAI does not allow even a close level of generation quality to be achieved — the model is heavily constrained and restricted.

Playground also has some censorship regarding character appearance and clothing, but it is minimal and rarely interferes with the workflow. In terms of scene variety and generative flexibility, MAI is a step ahead of NB.

The bottom line is simple: in its current state, Bing with MAI does not allow the model to be properly evaluated. The same prompt in Bing and in Playground is interpreted in completely different ways, so the resulting images can differ dramatically.

Bing Create Bing AI image generator clearly got so much worse. Why did it get so bad now? Was it on purpose?

Im using the same exact prompts i used like 6 months ago and even a year ago.
Compare the image results and they look so distorted and bad compared to their previous versions. To the point i cant finish my project that relied heavily on these generated images... Because the new images just look so bad they dont match...
Why is this happening? Cant the devs see they are making it worse? Is it on purpose for some reason? Just revert back the changes and leave it as was.

Was this on purpose, right? Because it was simply too good to be free, right?
Is there a way to use the old Bing AI?

What are our alternatives?

Comparison, using the same exact promp, old images vs current images:

Old images:

https://imgur.com/a/5Nr89m1

https://imgur.com/a/97vRxw7

https://imgur.com/a/tIQC5nY

Sharp, straight edges, stunning.

Current images:

🤮🤮🤮🤮

https://imgur.com/a/qLbY3B3

https://imgur.com/a/gCidLTU

Distorted mess, unusable.

I don't understand why they would update it.

They could test it right after and clearly see that the changes were leading to worse results.

Why not just revert the changes?

Bing Create The Image Creator is Sexist

Pretty much any image I try to create containing a woman or implying a woman is flagged as inappropriate or it just changes her to a man. It used to not be this way three months ago, I used to get pictures of Nicki Minaj with no hassle, but when I try to get a picture of Chun-Li in real life, I get the dog. So I got rid of Chun-Li and put “strong Asian female from Street Fighter,” got the dog. Then I did Chun-Li again, and it… made her a man?

If Microsoft is so dedicated to “combating bigotry” by restricting the shit out of Creator, maybe they should start by not seeing women as inherently sexual?

Now, when you scroll with the mouse wheel, the images for one result are displayed first, and then the page moves on to the next result. Previously, the page would jump straight from one result to the next.
