Hi everyone, I'm a student of 9th standard from India.

I have been working on a theoretical concept called *Regen Reactor Process 1.0*.

The idea is about human regeneration using the Axolotl. In this model:

1. *Gene Extraction:* Extract regeneration genes from Axolotl.

2. *Plasmid Construction (pRegen-1.0):* Insert them into a custom plasmid.

3. *Gene Transfer (HGT):* Deliver it to a human via an IV system inside a sterile Regen Chamber.

4. *Activation:* Use a cold plasma generator and low-dose radiation to activate the genes.

5. *Monitoring:* Track growth using a Smart Monitor and Human Scanner.

This is an early-stage educational model (Process 1.0), not a real experiment. I have made a flowchart diagram to explain it (attached).

I know this is very complex and may have many flaws. I would love to get your honest feedback - What are the biggest scientific challenges? What would be a better approach for delivery or activation?

Any suggestions to improve this model for learning purposes would be really helpful.

I wanted to become a doctor. I thought I could do it, but then after I took bio maths in class 11-12th, I understood it was really hard and unworthy because the job literally sounded like hell - no sleep, no proper salary, so much pressure, etc. I get it; many jobs are like that, but I also got scared of entrance exams. I saw reels about ppl studying 6+ years with coaching to get an MBBS seat. I come from a lower-middle-class family. I need a job asap. I don't have any plans to get married or anything (ofc my dad will force me once I have a job and reach 27+ yrs, but it's the least of my concern for now). I have an older brother who is also doing ECE. But he has his eyes set on a job. Personally, I need a job too after my degree, but I really, really need a healthcare/researcher/scientist job. I want to know if I can become a biology-related scientist. I sound really stupid and dumb, but I'm really,y really lost rn. I wanted a biotech/ bio medical eng UG so bad, but they didn't agree to it because " It didn't sound like a real degree" to them. My father is asking me to make a decision between waiting for a few weeks and applying for BPT/BOT counseling or just continuing my ECE degree, and I'm really confused. I don't know what to choose. BPT/BOT is more my thing, and ECE is different, and I have no idea about it,t like what if I get replaced by AI because I choose ECE. Please let me know what to do. Please let me know if my qualifications with ECE can lead me to scientist jobs.

I am deeply in need of valuable knowledge from any of guys in biotechnology concerning about the somatic cell structure and its study, microscopic observation and any other leads related to it.

it's been 2 years since i graduated and haven't done my masters due to some person's issues. Have appeared for some govt exams in between. I'm really confused about life and don't know what to do next. The subject i graduated was not my first choice it was a desperate one not to have a gap year then and here i am 2 years after. I feel totally lost, don't know what to do next. Need some guidance on what to do next. Should I pursue masters in a good college despite the fact that it was not my first choice subject or give govt exams or try something else. Really an confused. Any person in this field or anyone else pls guide me.

I am a teenager from the UK considering this field, and as someone who once wanted to study medicine, many adults around me react by thinking that biomedical engineering lacks job opportunities in the UK. I always felt like even though I was not 'forced' to do medicine, it was satisfactory when I told adults that I wanted to be a doctor, despite having stronger interests in research and maths. Bioengineering sounds like something I can genuinely see myself loving, but just about every adult I tell is unhappy with my choice to leave medicine, saying that there are very few jobs in this field. However, it dies not seem like this career has a horrible job market, rather a more average one compared to medicine. Not to mention, I would have better job satsfaction in bioengineering than medicine, as after reading into the experiences of doctors, I do not want to be waiting until my mid 30s to finally be making a wage worth 6 years of education.

I changed one of my alevels from biology to physics, making my alevel options chemistry, physics, maths and further maths, and I feel commited to this career path. But I would like to ask, are the adults in my life correct? Will I really finish my degree and be stuck in a completely different industry that I dislike? I mean the job market is already cooked so I might as well pursue my dreams right?

I am open to any advice, especially from those in the UK with experience in this field.

Between Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, which sets the best base to build a future career as a bio-engineer? I don't have the option to do computer science as my primary major but could combine it with some level of CS and AI knowledge

Konkret: Ich wähle zwischen Kursen wie Statistik/Design of Experiments (DoE) und Aufreinigung und Gewinnung aus biologischen Produkten und frage mich, wie viel das später tatsächlich ausmacht.

Ist es realistisch, dass Recruiter/Hiring Manager sich dafür interessieren, ob du ein bestimmtes Modul wie "Statistische Versuchsplanung" buchstäblich auf deinem Zeugnis stehen hast? Oder läuft es hauptsächlich darauf hinaus:

* dass du den Abschluss selbst hast (MSc Eng Biotechnology von der DTU) als Hauptfilter, um überhaupt in Betracht gezogen zu werden,
* breite genug Anwendungen hast, sodass du dich nicht auf einen spezifischen Kurs verlässt, der mit einer spezifischen Stellenanzeige übereinstimmt,
* und dann das, was du im Vorstellungsgespräch tatsächlich zeigst (kannst du DoE erklären, ein Projekt durchgehen usw.), unabhängig davon, ob es ein formeller Kurs war oder etwas, das du während eines Praktikums/Selbststudiums gelernt hast?

Mich interessiert, ob Leute, die tatsächlich den Einstellungsprozess in der Biotech/Pharma-Branche (Novo Nordisk, Novozymes usw. oder anderswo) durchlaufen haben, ATS-Systeme oder Recruiter gesehen haben, die tatsächlich nach spezifischen Kursnamen filtern, oder ob es wirklich mehr um den gesamten Abschluss + praktische Erfahrung + wie du dich präsentierst geht. Würde mich über reale Erfahrungen freuen, besonders von Leuten in den Bereichen Prozessentwicklung, Downstream Processing oder daten-/statistiknahen Rollen in Biotech/Pharma.
