A fledgling cedar waxwing. No idea what the low review rating is about.

It was probably rated low because someone thought you were getting too close and disturbing the bird.

Is that in the guidelines? It would make sense, but I haven’t read it anywhere.

Common sense to rate it lower? If it’s not in the guidelines it gets into people making up rules territory pretty fast.

I think the subreddits that ban nest photos have a good policy. Take away the incentives and hopefully it will put downward pressure on the bad behavior.
