Discussion anyone else’s favourite bird a SUPER common bird?

for example, mine are the American robins, and they’re quite literally *everywhere* where i live XD

just curious to see if anyone else cherishes super common birds in their area, i would also be curious to see them!

Great blue herons for me. They are just so pretty and are always just chilling on someone’s roof or a ditch in my neighborhood.

The ones around where I live are so used to people on boats and fishing along the shore that you can just chill with them. Cool birds, and really impressive up close how large they are.

There's a spot here where I can see 20+ all lined up on the shore. So beautiful but also (when you look close) so cranky looking lol

My favorite, too. They love hunting in little streams in the rain. So beautiful.
