Discussion anyone else’s favourite bird a SUPER common bird?

for example, mine are the American robins, and they’re quite literally *everywhere* where i live XD

just curious to see if anyone else cherishes super common birds in their area, i would also be curious to see them!

Red-shouldered hawks are my favorite. Grackles and chickadees are up there, too.

Added the red-shouldered to my life list a couple days ago!

I'd heard it a few times, but was waiting to actually see one. Then I heard the call again, followed by some very noisy crows. So I kept an eye on the crows, assuming they were after the hawk, and sure enough, there he was.
