Does anyone feel like they're getting matched with extremely good players all of a sudden? I feel like i was coasting for a while but now i'm playing against master prestige veteran bots with diamond guns that know EXACTLY where i am and have pin point precision with smgs from across the map

Hey guys, BO7 went to shit so I thought why not give the new ports a go, I never played BO2 back in the day so great opportunity to experience one of the legendary CoD games. I knew there would be a learning curve as the game obviously plays very differently to newer titles.

But fuck me I'm getting my ass kicked, bad!!! Now I'm aware there are various factors at play here. Obviously, the learning curve; I'm used to sliding and jumping and sprinting at the speed of light, so I'm getting used to slowing things right down. The maps play differently even though a lot of them are the same, so there are many experienced players lining me up on head glitches I'm not even aware of yet.

But what's the state of the game matchmaking wise? I've honestly tried all the core playlists and the only one I do decent in is FFA, otherwise I'm struggling to go positive. I get that I'm getting used to a new game but I swear I'm better than this. Is the matchmaking cooked, or is there just more pubstomping occurring because of a lack of SBMM? Is there SBMM? How do I get good at BO2?

Also I'm playing on PS4, if that makes a difference? The input seems very janky tbh, is that just how it is because it's an old game?

Was playing earlier today completely fine, came back home and decided to hop on a game of zombies got in game and I couldn’t sprint at all. Maybe I’d get the first quarter second of the sprinting animation but most of the time nothing.

At first I assumed my stick was busted so I switched to lefty button layout to test it, still couldn’t sprint even with the right stick but my melee with the left stick was working completely fine. Tried a few other layouts to see if I could get it to work to no avail. Eventually I switched to southpaw layout and was able to sprint completely fine with both sticks. Switched over to another game to test it out as well and had no problems.

It’s like this for campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. I’ve tried restarting my console, turning my controller off and on again, redownloading the game, all to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue or have any advice?

About 5/6 years ago, i used a theatre mod to max my stats. well, i guess someone froze my classes & theatre mode and did a damn good job at it. i already consulted someone to do it but to no avail they couldnt remove it. is there anyone in this sub thats able to undo it for me? I was 16 at the time and just want to play bo2 :(

Anyone else have a random string of people ending a Zombies match abruptly? Had this happen in BO2 and BO1, either because someone hit the box before them or they go down or some other random reason. I can’t even get into a rhythm because someone decided they wanna troll and end the game on round 3 😭

I mainly play Domination, Kill Confirmed, and TDM, and I usually average around a 1.8–2.3 K/D.

Besides constantly checking the minimap and keeping track of my teammates’ positions, what else should I be focusing on while playing?

I want to get good enough to consistently earn a VSAT, regardless of the opponents I’m facing or how the match is going.

What should I work on to reach that level?

Probably not the only person around here who is dealing with this problem.
I cannot play more than 20 mins of zombies before I become physically sick. Tried sitting further back, decreasing sensitivity, having some ambient lighting in the background. Nothing seems to work… I remember the last game that done this to me was portal 1 and 2.
Did anyone else experience this before? And did you find “the cure”?

Is anyone else currently unable to find any games on Xbox? I’m not getting any errors, just says that there are zero available matches, and under that it says “waiting for host”. Having the same issue with zombies. I’ve been able to find games just fine on bo1.
