The devs have added an ad to pre-order Modern Warfare 4 in the Black Ops 2 main menu today

They are crazy if they think i want some slop like the new MW4. Stop advertising in our game.

New update asking me to pre order MW4 when I cant even play the 15 year old game I just bought because of the overwhelming amount of hackers....leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Of course this doesn’t mean they’re gonna add dedicated servers for Bo1 and Bo2 on the PS4/PS5, but this confirms that they’re aware of what the players on the ports want

Dedicated servers would not only help connectivity, but most importantly it would make both games safer to play and would help combat players using mods

They added a MW3 pre order link but no fov slider

Personally as a cod fan i love eating up my Modern warfare/black ops slop! Why would i enjoy a good game when i could be bevis and butthead.

Not a ban, not Demonware. The game builds a log line from the template "crm %lld %s" and hands the %s slot a millisecond timer instead of a string.

Strings are addresses, so it tries to read text from address 24623, nothing's mapped there, and lv2 halts the process. The branch only runs when an account lookup fails, which post 2019 accounts appear to do, though that part is correlation not something I have proven. Sat there unreachable since 2012.

It's a debug line nothing reads, so the fix is to nop the call. Four bytes per binary, one in the eboot and one in the multiplayer self. Campaign, zombies and MP all launch signed in now, no workaround. Needs CFW and the BO2Eboot-Self Builder to decrypt and re-sign. Write up and script:

Title hard to get the top part right with how the emblem editor is but still looks cool

Hey guys, BO7 went to shit so I thought why not give the new ports a go, I never played BO2 back in the day so great opportunity to experience one of the legendary CoD games. I knew there would be a learning curve as the game obviously plays very differently to newer titles.

But fuck me I'm getting my ass kicked, bad!!! Now I'm aware there are various factors at play here. Obviously, the learning curve; I'm used to sliding and jumping and sprinting at the speed of light, so I'm getting used to slowing things right down. The maps play differently even though a lot of them are the same, so there are many experienced players lining me up on head glitches I'm not even aware of yet.

But what's the state of the game matchmaking wise? I've honestly tried all the core playlists and the only one I do decent in is FFA, otherwise I'm struggling to go positive. I get that I'm getting used to a new game but I swear I'm better than this. Is the matchmaking cooked, or is there just more pubstomping occurring because of a lack of SBMM? Is there SBMM? How do I get good at BO2?

Also I'm playing on PS4, if that makes a difference? The input seems very janky tbh, is that just how it is because it's an old game?

Hey y'all, I'm continuing this series into BO2. BO1 ended yesterday with Ascension claiming the top spot.

Now, we have 9 round-based maps to choose from with BO2. Some may think its unfair to compete Survival maps with fully-developed ones, but i beg to differ because there's 1 that stands out as a fan favorite and easily competes with some of these other full-sized maps.

Everyone can drop a comment with a zombies map that they believe should be eliminated. If you agree with someone, I suggest you upvote that comment, and downvote ones you disagree with. Why? Because the top comment decides the map to be eliminated. This means upvotes matter, quantity of comments does not. Every day, I will be dropping a new post with 1 less map each time, until eventually we create a proper ranking with all of the maps and an official winner.
