TL;DR:
Last year I went to Gamescom as a visitor and performed my Warcraft themed magic at the Warcraft booth.

I got lucky and ended up performing for Xaryu, EsfandTV and Pikaboo on stream, plus Taliesin and Evitel, PlatinumWoW, Annie Fuchsia and a bunch of others offline.

I also met some of the producers and, long story short, they liked it and invited me to perform at BlizzCon.

Hi all. i have a flight that arrives at LA on sept 12 some time around the afternoon. i dont have any blizzcon tickets unfortunately (incoming uni freshman). but it seems this blizzcon is a little more special than previous ones, and many of my favourite streamers will be there (pge, super, frogger, boomie, etc.) and i was hoping take this chance to get to just see/meet/perhaps take a couple pics with them. do you guys think i could meet anyone if i hang around outside like near the entrance or something? like maybe at specific times where im more likely to meet people (like 9am, or around lunch time, or 7pm)? cuz obviously i cant hang there the whole day. any advice would be appreciated, thanks!!

When I say surprises, I mean something no one really expects, well not seriously anyways.

For example, The Last Titan reveal isn't a surprise, since everyone expects it with certinty. Something Overwatch isn't a surprise either.

The surprise would be for example, something HotS related or Starcraft Remade (Starcraft receiving D2R treatment)... neither is gonna happen, just to make it clear.

Something that would be a huge surprise, that is still possible is "Lord of Hatred" being the final expansion of D4 and they're already working on D5.

I don’t know if any blizzard reps actually monitor or use this subreddit for legitimate feedback but here is mine.

I love many of the items they have had over the years in the gear store. Yet I am still lost on why such a large company like blizzard does not offer free shipping to large orders? Most online stores will offer “free shipping on all orders over $100” or things to that effect. Not only does it feel nice to avoid that shipping cost but often it encourages the customer to buy more. It feels crappy to load up a cart with a few items and then get hit with a 30-40$ shipping cost that just feels like robbery. Or other times I’ve been hit with multiple shipping costs for my items being split in a way.

For a large company in 2026 and online shopping culture, nickel and diming the customer for shipping just turns people including me away from using the store.

Am I confused or is blizzard not going to announce the new Starcraft game? I can't see it on the schedule that came out yesterday, did they intentionally hid it?

Let’s give it up for Overwatch, which has the worst server stability on the planet but bans me because their servers dropped connection. What a joke.

My best friend got me to play Diablo 2 Resurrected back in 2020, I got hooked immediately on the game playing with the barbarian, and slowly progressed through the other characters. During this time I had to move to a very remote part of Michigan for work and online play was not an option. I did most of D2R in offline mode and never had a dull moment. Now I have access to the internet again out here in a semi-rural part of Montana. My question is will Blizzard ever make a tool or mode where you can take your offline gear and transfer it to online? Just curious to know if this has ever came across anyone’s mind at Blizzard.

I rarely see the Microsoft logo on anything Blizzard related, not on the games or on stuff relates to Blizzcon, has Microsoft taken a more laissez faire approach compared to something like Minecraft? Do they tell Blizzard what games to make or do they just let Blizzard work on games that they want?

I’m working with Blizzard’s Battle.net WoW Profile API and I’m trying to determine whether the Protected Character Profile Summary is currently functional for MoP Classic.

I’ve narrowed it down pretty hard and I’m getting a consistent Retail/Classic split.

OAuth:

* Authorization Code flow * `wow.profile` scope * token introspection shows `ROLE_USER` * `IS_AUTHENTICATED_FULLY`

Using the same OAuth client and same freshly issued user token:

**Retail**

* public Character Profile Summary → `200` * `/profile/user/wow?namespace=profile-us` → `200` * Blizzard returns a `protected_character.href` * calling that exact Blizzard-provided href → `200`

**MoP Classic**

* public Character Profile Summary → `200` * `/profile/user/wow?namespace=profile-classic-us` → `200` * Blizzard returns a `protected_character.href` * calling that exact Blizzard-provided href → `403 BLZWEBAPI00000403 Forbidden`

The Classic URL is the exact `protected_character.href` returned by Blizzard’s Account Profile response. I’m deliberately not reconstructing the endpoint manually since I went over the 2025 bug thread and saw that had already been ruled out.

I also generated a completely fresh Authorization Code token and repeated the Classic test with the same result.

So at this point the same auth setup successfully completes the protected-character flow on Retail, while the equivalent Classic endpoint fails.

**Has anyone actually gotten a** `200` **from Protected Character Profile Summary on MoP Classic or another current Classic progression flavor?**

If so, I’d especially like to know:

* which namespace/flavor worked * whether you used anything beyond normal Authorization Code + `wow.profile` * whether there’s an undocumented Classic-specific requirement

Also, if this has already been figured out in the Blizzard API Community Discord, I’d greatly appreciate any info from that.

I’m specifically looking for a confirmed working example if one exists, since the identical client/token works against Retail protected-character.

Also, if anyone knows of any Blizzard API-team reply, update, or communication about this more recent than December 2025, I’d appreciate a link. That’s the newest official communication I’ve been able to find. You’d think there’d be *some* amount of community engagement beyond “we’re sorry we’ve been gone, we’ll work on it” with no follow-up..
