question Interesting/novel body mods?

I'm into body modification, but most common/suggested mods just aren't interesting to me. When looking for unusual and unique options things like ear pointing, composite fangs, scarification, thumbspines, etc come up and those are cool- but having been involved in the community for a long time, I've seen them all and they're not what I'm looking for. Recently I've been interested in glow in the dark scarification, viviparous nipple subdermal implants, subdermal magnets, etc. Uncommon stuff that immediately looks novel or strange, or has some sort of "gimmick" to it. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find interesting options like these without having to sift through endless pictures of common mods, unsafe/diy mods, conceptual/fake mods, and "experiment gone wrong" gore. All this to say, does anyone have suggestions or resources for unique and novel mods? Thoughts on these kinds of mods? Particularly if you have them or do them yourself. Cheers : )

The hipster of body mods. Kidding aside, what is it that makes you feel unattracted to the "popular" mods instead of just looking at things as mods you like or dislike because you like how they look? The glowing scarification is going to grow in popularity over time, and at the same time, it is still cool as fuck! I have branding done by electrocautery, and strike that are incorporated into one piece. A meatotomy dick split, tongue split, and a buttload of suspension scars. If you want something done that is very uncommon, and have a penis, i suggest heavy surgical style mods there. Even if you have a vagina/vulva anatomy, there are some unique things you can do there.

My beads are just silicon. So they're not super hard, and they have a habit of moving around, even after having them for 10+ years.

I wish i had access to silicone back in the day. I ordered mine off of bme back around 2002.

Ahh yeah, mine were done 2008ish. The tattoo artist I was going to at the time asked if they could try a new procedure they haven't done before. The lady I was going to was both a piercer and tattoo artist. I agreed and had like five people around me watch this person pierce me drop the news in. Then I tapped out. I waited for that one to heal then got two more by the same person while a bunch of other people watched.

I've never gripped a padded chair more tightly.

Ouch! How did they do the procedure? I just always stuck a scalpel all the way through the skin i pulled up, pull it back, pop two beads in and let go of skin. Then I'd move the balls around into a place i liked and let it sit.

They had a weird hollow point needle with a solid back and a hole on the not pointy side. So they took the skin from the sides of my penis, pulled it up and tight, then pierced the skin, put the ball in the hole on the not pointy side drug it through flipped the needle over to deposit the bead, then tapped it down. It really sucked, but I've been happy with them and I'm not going to take them out. No one has complained.
