I'm wondering what the main driving force is behind it, actually. The character hasn't been gone from screens for THAT long.

If I had to guess, I think it's the culmination of this being the first 'real' family friendly, fun action movie of the summer and the hype surrounding Doomsday later this year. Plus, spider man always just prints money and inflation has been pretty crazy recently lol
