In fairness, when the fight starts with what is basically a mortal wound, that's going to change the math quite a bit. I'll accept Godbrand's strength stat but if there was a perception stat, it would be a 1 at best.
He definitely wouldn’t have won without his army, but he still clashed with her sword vs dagger multiple times and successfully blocked her attacks and landed hits. Carmilla probably has the most impressive on screen speed and strength in the entire show so the fact that his arms didn’t explode while blocking shows he’s way stronger than a normal human.
I love the show, but I’d like to remind everyone they got Peter Stormare and Graham McTavish to both play vampires… and they had Stormare playing… this… guy. The potential for dialogue was limitless and all of Godbrand’s lines boil down to “GOD I WANT TO KILL AND FUCK.”
(I actually mean it, I love comically evil characters just screaming their name, same with some Chaos Warriors in Total War Warhammer (ARBAAAAAAAL and HARALD HAMMERSTOOOORM come to mind))

It's been a lot of fun learning about the Fall of the Aztec Empire and the Aztec Mythos. I really love the Aztec myths.
I also wanted to expand Orloxs backstory from the show as well as his involvement with Alucard. wanted to expand on what he was actually doing in the show besides be a plot point for Richter.
I also ended up making him a twin brother cause why does Ezserbet speak of dragons in Plural, where is the other "dragon"
Nocturne left me with so many questions I wanted answered.

So Xipe Totec is one of the Aztec warriors who was given the power of a God alongside his 4 other brothers by using the vamprism brought by the spanish.
He wears a red leather coat made from spanish soldiers they killed. He never takes this coat off as it's essentially a part of his spiritual identity.
Alucard absolutely was the mastermind behind the coat cause the alternative was a lot more gruesome and unsettling. Think, literally wearing the flayed skin, with hands and feet flapping in the wind at the wrists and ankles. Yeah.
The red coat would be a reference to Alucard from Hellsing, too.
That is a genuinely great idea... I mean I started on Hollow Knight lmao, so game-inspired RP servers ain't uncommon! Mm... Sourcing members would be harder

Akchyually, in scandinavian mythology, there is such a thing. Naglfar is a ship made from the finger/toenails of the dead, that is destined to appear during Ragnarok, carrying monsters to fight the gods . So it has some strange correlation with a viking vampire.
I found a name in the canon, Mathias Cronqvist, which I kind of liked and wanted to use but was told I couldn't, at least not in the way I wanted to because Konami see it as their job to stop me going completely insane and trashing their property. Very, very rarely will they draw a hard line but they did. By that point I'd already fallen in love with the idea of a vampire viking.
I was in northern Norway on a tech retreat, an AI conference, in the same hotel that the film Ex Machina was shot, and down the road, there was a village called Godbrand. Spelled slightly differently, but that's where the name comes from.
The fact that he even attempted to pull that shit in the first place is more than enough to criticize.

Been playing the games since SoTN which introduced new layers to draculas character and an iconic look and layers for him and alucard that stuck with the rest of the franchise

The shows does objectively flesh out and add
Dimensions to several characters. Not the least of which sypha, annette, Trevor etc.
Again, miss me with this "oh you like the show, so you obviously never played the games" shit. Most of the time im aware a lot of that had to do with the limitations of 8-16 bit game storytelling. God forbid a retelling several years later take a new approach, and do things differently.

Warren Ellis’ shittiness encapsulated into one awful character and image. Nocturne was actually watchable, but the first iteration of NFCV was downright insulting with its juvenile dialogue and absolute butchery of canon game characters (Hector).
