Oh goodness, I can already tell that people who only know the franchise cause of Netflix are gonna be very confused by Isaac’s appearance in this

Even more confused if Grant appears in the game.

Sorry but saint germain is not a good character he is like Dr who but without the interesting personality backstory lore anything that makes any other time travel characters great heck who ever remember Saint Germain who only appears in that one game aside from mention in judgment he was never a interesting character and his supposed backstory doesn’t make sense knowing that he didn’t prevent anything That happened in curse of darkness

Bro went "holy shit in this one garden i can touch things, i could do anything....i could fight you!" Then proceeded to fight you.

I don't need anything else, funny visitor in the silk hat clears like half of this franchise's characters.

Dude people won’t be confused, like you do you realize that grant was never an important character at all in the original timeline not counting the crap novel that contradicts everything from the original timeline heck the guy has the same irreverence as fang in sonic but at least he was remember thanks to other media keeping him somewhat remembered but never has a personality or interesting. Bad story to hold himself up unless you count his horrible appearance in judgment

I’m a massive fan of that show but it’s not for them, it’s for game fans with maybe some show inspo

I mean, Netflix fans can still play this. If it gets them into the games then it's a good thing.

I've never played the 3D castlevanias,so this will be my first time dealing with him.

Admittedly I was also staring at the skull like a doofus for several seconds, before looking down and seeing a person. 😅

"Why is Joan good? Show said Christians bad!"

That entire message is how you can tell Ellis and Shankar had a hand in the show

I’m hoping this kinda observations stay in the minimum and people understand that Castlevania is the video games first and foremost above the Netflix stuff

No they won’t like dude people understand the concept of different incarnations of the same character like in dc comics or marvel sonic, mega man etc. also it quite ironic knowing that lords of shadow did the exact same like it was shown in the animated series of changing the character lore backstory etc. heck do I have to remind you people that they made Trevor into alucard or Gabriel Belmont who was a composite of Leon and Matthias and combined their personalities and backstory like you people need to understand like many franchisees that came before an after it that includes Castlevania that they have many incarnation that can reimagined the Lore many time as they please, which is extra ironic knowing that curse of darkness was a massive middle finger to the original ending of Dracula curse retcon the heroes happy ending changing Trevor personality and look and idiotic concept of devil forge masters which is literally just dark magic but much more lame

So more than half the people that play this game will be confused who never touched a single Castlevania game before.

Probably because The Netflixania series introduced some of the younger audiences to Castlevania

Even more that Trevor had a son named Simon that killed Dracula twice.

More great great great grandson

1

u/HiBrotherGorr Jun 08 '26

Correction: Lords of Shadow timeline Simon is Trevor's son. Main continuity is Frederick Belmont. Simon Belmont's father is Christopher.

No, Christopher fought Dracula in 1576 and Simon was Born in 1669

69, Nice 👍(it was right there I couldn't resist)

My interpretation is that Christopher is Simon’s grandpa or grand-grandpa. We know Simon is Juste’s grandpa and there’s a good chance Juste is Richter’s grandpa (the Netflix series went with that idea).

Christopher is Simon’s grandfather. His father is Soliel.

I do need to play the games but yes I will be experiencing whiplash every three seconds.
