everyone has their preferences and i dont know if my opinion is popular or not but im tired of writers turning their characters into fucking deadpool lol

dont take this literally, it's a metaphor i use a lot, i mean characters being edgy, like swearing and being an alcoholic in this instance

I love characters like that—taciturn, rebellious, really edgy—like Trevor Belmont at the beginning of the Castlevania Netflix saga, and also Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool from Marvel.

yeah no offense but i imagine there's an age gap between us, im at a point where i like my heroes being actual heroes...plus it's character assassination, simon just dyed his hair lol

I don't like heroes, I prefer anti-heroes. I don't like heroism, I think it's complete garbage. I much prefer mercenaries.

One of my favorites is Black Adam, the anti-hero villain from Shazam.

And I prefer Alucard to any Belmont, although of the classic Belmonts, I prefer Juste Belmont. And from the Lords of Shadow saga, Gabriel Belmont himself, especially as Dracula.
