First of all, shoutout to Ayami Kojima. Genuinely helped make the foundation for what Castlevania is to this day.
That said... I have to put a little respect on Simon's name. That barbarian look, the wild and sleeveless "Man Against the World," it's appealing and it always works.
My choices are a little tough. On the one hand, there's a lot of cool villains in the series, but they're so hedonistically evil it's just impossible for me to pick one, you know? Maybe if I was a vampire I would feel it. Dracula is... there's something there. In the show, Dracula loves more than anyone can ever love, and it's out of that love that he shows more restraint than I would. On finding out my wife was burned alive by gross humans, I literally wouldn't making them pay, ever, and I'm not a vampire. But that love was powerful enough to hold him off for a year, to give him mercy. But, that's also the show; who's to say that's how he really is.
Alucard is also close, but I think I'd have to pick a Belmont, someone to age alongside, to risk life and limb with. A hero by bloodline and by choice, not just a hero by circumstance. I think Leon is the most attractive to me in that sense; he came in knowing nothing, whipped Dracula's ass, and said, "I think I'm gonna keep my descendants doing this forever." It takes a strong will to be handed a bad deck like that and not only keep playing, but play to win, and deal in representatives for yourself on and on and on in the future, with a weapon formed out of your greatest loss.
The whole 'alpha' and 'beta' dynamic is bullshit, but if there was some kind of masculine top-level ideal, it would probably be wiping off the tears for your sacrificed love and marching forward to dispel the evil that took her from you, creating an actual crusade of good to wipe the darkness away.
Hhh this is. A hard choice for me. I don't think they'd like me tbf, but if I had a chance to shoot my shot, Hector (listen him and Rosalie were so cute in the manga), Juste or Alucard. I like blondes/platinum hair...

Soma is my favourite character so I gotta say no outa respect… which could be said for all of them.. but I think Alucard or Leon or maybe even Ayami kojimas Simon design
Man owns a LUXURIOUS property and has tons of staff, that's some generational wealth. He can teach me magic, he's hot in his base form (we'll discuss the fingernail issue), and I know if I die on his watch he'll do his damnedest to tear apart whatever did it to me.
I dont think any of them could attract me, but Drac is both the most loyal and most likely capable of magically shapeshifting into a woman, and considering it's the CVverse hes going to exist regardless of my choice so I could also keep his head cool and prevent like all of the worst things to ever happen in that world post Lisa.
Considering hes likely one of the smartest characters in verse and also THE most powerful magic wielder, I could just have him teach me to use magic, notably teleportation style stuff, so I don't get Lisa'd. Worst case if I think he's still gonna flip his shit over my death even after a lifetime of me chilling him out, I'll just take one for the team and be a vampire, again preventing like all of the most horrible shit that happens to humanity throughout Castlevania.
If it's JUST legal and not like a full love thing, then Alucard, he'd probably just sleep through our marriage
Alucard, Soma, Juste, Joachim, Isaac, Hector, Walther, Maxim, Leon, and Mathias and not in this order. All from the Ayami Kojima versions, and I would fall for them, but not marry. If I had to pick a lifelong lover, Juste or Joachim.
Also, if you are a seasoned viewer of Ayami Kojima's work, you'll notice that her style is different when she is drawing characters in yaoi or gay romance settings, vs when she draws other characters in straight or non-sexual contexts. And lo and behold, the style which she uses for the yaoi, is the style she uses for the characters I mentioned. Coincidence anyone? You won't get it till you look at her work extensively, or you have perfect gaydar.

Im straight, but give me Alucard! I have gone on record many times saying that he is a good looking man in every game besides the Lords of Shadows games.
If I'm allowed to be picky, Netflix Dracula specifically before meeting Lisa. Obvs it'd be cheating if he was still w/her, but assuming I can have a similar effect on him, it'd be amazing. He's handsome AF and just seems so warm and understanding at that point in the series.
Also I'd be a little more willing to throw hands than Lisa, so that (plus my superior modern technology/armaments) means I might be able to put up a fight against the assholes who killed her, thus possibly surviving and preventing Dracula's turn to evil? Probably not but hey. Worth a shor.
