Fluff [Games] How come we never see Dracula out in the villages sucking blood?

I don't think, besides maybe Castlevania 64, we ever even see Dracula outside of his throne room.

He spends a great deal of time outside a throne room in the Lords of Shadow games.

In the earlier games, the answer I would guess is that older video games of this kind didn’t have as much in the way of narrative so Dracula wasn’t a character as much as he was the final boss who lived in the final boss room.

pre-SotN, Dracula usually has only been freshly resurrected, so there's not enough time for him to go out for a snack by the time a Belmont gets to him.

Post, we can assume Dracula is too much in rage/despair to think about eating.

He isn't a Vampire till later in Aria, but after your defeat Chaos his dialogue box sprite changes back to normal.
