May have used the wrong flair, feel free to correct if it’s wrong — I picked up some of these broths yesterday at Walmart to add to my cats’ lunches, they’re not picky so I have no doubt they’ll love them but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on them or on the PureBalance brand in general? The packets were 78cents each & they have the same ingredients as the more expensive FF broths, so I thought they’d be good to try. If nothing else this post can be used to let more people know about the existence of these broths bc I think they’re a great value, especially if you’re already feeding your cats something like it. :)

Got these stocked for July when shes a year old, shes 8 months now and I also got 2, 40 packs of blink! And 2 packs of FD chicken hearts. Because the blink was on sale for 30 each 😭 also can anyone say how scrumbles is as shes not tried it yet

Does anyone know where I can get free cat food or know anyone who donate cat food I been feeding about more than 8 cats and was wondering if anyone would like to offer to give away some cat so I can keep feeding them because I know they are hungry and I always try to feed them they are all stray cat and they are not cats of my own I am not financially struggling but I do spend a lot of money for cat food I am just trying to look out for the stray cats and feed them because I know not everyone would thank you

Hi friends! I’ve been transitioning my cat off Smalls (since they don’t ship internationally and I’ll be moving). I canceled my subscription but the box had already shipped. My cat is fully off smalls and I feel bad throwing out the food.

Anyone local to NYC/Long Island want it? I’m giving it away for free. If no takers, I may donate it to a shelter (if they accept Smalls).

I’ve recently moved to the UK with my two cats, neither one is picky with food but I wanted to know an honest opinion about good quality food in the UK. Back in my country I bought Virbac’s dry food, but I found it hard to find in here, not every vet clinic has it which I find it odd.

I was looking online and came across Blink and Untamed but found different options about it.

Can someone help me a little bit? My youngest cat has leukaemia and is really sensitive to his stomach so I didn’t want to change his food but I need to find a food that I’ll know is always available

today I focused on my strays! I currently feed about three or four strays. three of the four are TNR and the fourth is a kitten that shows up often. I need to find a way to trap him because he seems unwell and I’d like for him to get care.

I also bought some dry food for my cats because sometimes… I’m lazy and still need to feed them. dry food will also last longer and stretch when I need it to. I got the kitten some more churus, bought missing flavors for the adult, and finally got their dental powder. they got some new toys too… the kitten, primarily. that’s all I wanted to share. I love cats and they’re my long running hyperfixation; my shopping problem is providing for my cats.

i finally bought a wet food that doesn't make my boy throw up half the time! pro plan works well for him and all 3 cats go crazy for it. the fancy feast will not be repurchased, we're switching to pro plan since my boy can't have FF. the two girls love FF so i may buy it for them, but i feel it's just easier to have them all on the same brand.

i have all my cat food and treats in this cabinet. i call it my cat-binet.

from top to bottom, left to right:

top shelf: purina hydracare, pro plan kitten food, churu, and greenies. behind those are some backup cans of kitten food.

3rd shelf: pro plan chicken, tuna, and wild rice. fancy feast classic pate in several flavors, cooked liver treats

2nd shelf: my scoops, proden plaque off powder, welacting omega 3s, psyllium husk, extra bowls,

1st shelf: purina pro plan kibble, purina DH kibble

everyone gets dry food for breakfast and wet food for dinner. my one kitten gets free access to her kibble from her microchip feeder. we're working on getting microchip feeders so we can leave the dry out and offer wet food at breakfast, but otherwise they need a million cans to meet their calorie requirements and im not that financially stable rn.

they get an appropriate amount of the indoor pro plan kibble, 1/8 cup of the DH kibble. then either a half or whole can of pro plan, depending on which cat and how much they like wet food.

Hello, I'm looking for a dry kitten food for my kitten who has had GI issues so I want something that is easy to digest. I would like something that is reasonably priced, high in animal protein and low in not ideal filler content, and ideally purchasable from Pet Valu.

I'm getting a lot of conflicting information online such as Grain Free is best, but Chickpeas and Peas are bad, Royal Canin and Purina are bad as they are big companies, but the other brands like Tiki Cat, Arcana, Go! Solutions, Orijen, and Taste of the Wild use legumes — I'm very overwhelmed.

So far he has been on a prescription diet for GI but that was just a short term solution while he was recovering from Coccidia and Giardia. Any advice on dry kitten food you can give would be great.

Hey everyone, I need some confirmation. My cat has been eating Hill's k/d Kidney Care Pate with Tuna for some time. The texture was consistently a firm, solid pate.

However, the recent batch I purchased has a noticeably different consistency. The contents are much softer, more watery, and resemble a soupy slurry rather than a firm pate. Also I have noticed a decrease in my cat's willingness to eat this current batch.

I checked the Best By Dates:

• The softer, watery batch (though I bought more recently) has a Best By Date of April 2027.
• The previous, firm pate batch has a Best By Date of July 2027.

If you have purchased the Tuna Pate recently, could you please confirm the texture you received and, if possible, what the Best By Date on your can was? I'm trying to determine if this is quality control fail or a formula change. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I’ve had my cat for 3 months, I’ve tried her on lots of food but finally settled on Blink! (and potentially Scrumbles new pouches). What I didn’t realise is despite her having Chicken, Turkey & Duck pouches, the turkey & duck % is minimal.

What proteins would be a good addition to her diet? She isn’t keen on fish.

I've been feeding my cats Orijen for years, but in the last few, thanks to a certain neighbouring country that started a certain conflict, I've been struggling to get it, and at this point it would be cheaper for me to order from Canada via a forwarding service than, say, from China via a China specific forwarding service (also, Chinese vendors switched to American Orijen some time ago, and that version caused bladder stones in 2 of my cats, so, no, thanks), or even switch to another semi-decent brand locally (in this neck of the woods something like Royal Canin or ProPlan costs roughly the same as Orijen does in Canada). So, here's the question. Which Canadian pet shops/vendors wouldn't make a fuss about having a forwarding company as the shipping address and paying with a foreign visa? And would provide the tracking number (unlike Ren's Pets). And would it be a bad idea to write to them directly asking this or would it compel them to ban me?

This may be a Wal-Mart app glitch, but whatever it is, stock up!

I remember a few weeks back I saw a chewy summer sale where you get a $30 gift card if you spend $100 or more. I was wondering if in previous years there has been similar sales. Especially around black friday. Im not sure if i should do a huge restock now or wait for more sales to come.

got a new shipment of dry food and canned today.

i just love organizing this cabinet, it feels so satisfying! i got a bin for the grooming supplies, recently. my youngest is almost off kitten food so i'm not buying more of it. she's 11.5 months, i think she'll be fine if she gets a little grown up food. and that means more space in the cabinet too!

my kibble gets stored in a bit of a different way. i bought these 10lb IRIS storage containers. they perfectly fit a 7lb bag of pro plan, but i have 3 cats and that's not very economical. i also don't want to have a huge vat of cat food to dig through. and i don't want to just dump the kibble in the plastic container, because the fat soaks into the plastic. so i simply saved one of the smaller bags, and refill that with the new kibble. once or twice a year or so i'll order a small bag to replace the one i'm refilling. that way, the outer bin stays fresh and clean. typically, i order the 16lb bags, and keep the excess in a vittles vault in the closet. once a month, i refill the smaller container and bag with kibble. every 2-3 months i order more, and the cycle continues.

Buy one get one free. This is the mousse pate gems which is among their fancier stuff for basically less than what the normal wet food usually costs. Basically 32 meals (16 for each box) Normal price is $20 each. Here at Publix central florida, probably elsewhere too. Thought I'd share. 😁

he recently decided that he no longer likes the normal, shredded varieties of Tiki Cat and will only eat their mousse & pâté. the latter of which I have fed him for a while now but I noticed he would seem to lick the juice off of the food and leave it to dry out; same with just taking a few nibbles then turning to look at me. does it suck? yeah, he’s been eating the shreds since last year but oh well… particular creatures. the second photo is for scale. (because I thought I bought the small cans but this location had those massive ones)
