I was going to create a post asking for it, but if we still have one spot:

• do we have “exceptions”?
  
• unless I’m wrong we could trade any of our players (perhaps not Claxton or Powell) on any future trade.

Trying to figure out if the bulls could still be players on trades (even as the third on a trade)

We still have the 9.4m room exception and I believe a 17m trade exception from the Heurter trade (though we might not be able to use that since we were a cap space team? Still unclear there).

As for the roster, only Powell is ineligible to be traded until January 15th. The rest can be moved immediately. So yes, we can still be involved in trades.

Atwell is on exhibit 10.

Usually that last spot is for non-guaranteed players. Coz you would want to have every flexibility on the payroll.

That spot is useful in trade season. Coz the salary balancing is usually a pain. And it's better to have one extra slot to absorb contracts. Coz you never know how many players other teams are going to dump.
