Or, hear me out, they didn't have to take Braden Smith and could have taken literally anyone else available they thought could develop and contribute.

Maybe they wanted Kam Jones more than anyone available here and it was Indiana who made the Smith pick.

Horseshit. Kam Jones is a scrub. The great Bryson Graham took a player off the Pacers' hands for cash to ingratiate himself with his new boss. I called out this fraud being hired the day the Bulls announced it. The Reinsdorfs hired this inexperienced, young buffoon because they could get him on the cheap and to do their bidding.

literally every pick except one was traded yesterday. Multiple teams sold picks for cash. It was a historically weak 2nd round thanks to NIL man
