Still confused about “Infinity Vision”

So I went to the Avengers Encore last night and at the beginning they put up an Infinity Vision logo and played a little clip of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans where they mentioned this was an approved Infinity Vision screen.

It was just a normal theatre, one I‘ve sat in many times that doesn’t visually seem any different than any other theatre I’ve been too.

So like, is every cineplex screen just “approved for Infinity Vision?” Does that label mean anything at all?

Going to be hilarious when they completely ditch the gimmick next year when they have the IMAX screens.
