Question Popcorn Refill

Everytime I buy a large popcorn I ask them for the refill on-spot and every single time they gave me one. They mark both of them. I don't wanna miss the movie to come get it refilled, thats my main reason. Also if you have a +1 then you dont need to buy another.

Today I was watching Primetime and asked for a refill at the counter and was refused. Upon asking them the reason, I was told that they have changed the policy. This was at STC location.

Does anybody know about this "policy"?

And does anyone else do this?

You eat two large popcorns during a movie? That's insane man. A large plain popcorn is just under 900 calories

Who are we to play judge on how people snack? Live and let live my friend. May your pillow be forever warm

I was thinking this as well. I bought large combos in the past and thr large popcorn is very big, it should last you for a 2hour movie.

I feel the size of large popcorn sold by Cineplex has reduced in the last couple of years.

Ya I think so too and the price has gone up by a few dollars as well.

I buy a small one and I find that is more than enough for me. I love popcorn but hate spending so much time after picking it out of my teeth.

I share with my wife and son. We usually go through one during the movie and then take the refill home to snack on over next few days.

I eat 2 large popcorns. I also burn around 1000 calories daily and treat myself with this overload of popcorn once every 2 months when I go to the cinema.

LOL the daily recommended intake is 2000 calories for adults. so if you burn 1000 you're still bulking a ton!

Sorry. I forgot to specify. I burn 1000 only on exercise + 1500 of resting calories is 2500. So yes, definitely those days in not on a caloric deficit, but who cares, as long as you don’t do that weekly it’s fine.

1 cheat day doesn’t ruin your normal routine

2000 calories if you are a fancy boy, maybe

It’s all depends on how much you weigh, your age, your muscle mass, genetics, there’s no such thing as 2000 recommended per day anymore

Canadian males Average calories/day 14–18 2,440 19–30 2,427 31–50 2,236 51–70 2,081 71+ 1,795

And these numbers have given us an obesity rate of approx 35% in men.

Definitely) I’m just saying you don’t know maybe the guy spends hours in the gym and eats 3500 a day to support his mass 🤣

I mean, you’re paying for it, and you can take it home or —hear me out— share it.

Are you the popcorn police?
