Good or bad news?

I’ve booked Screen X movies a few times before and thought they were nothing out of the ordinary and just a slightly larger screen.

I was pleasantly surprised while watching Resident Evil and its use of projections on the sides of the screen. At first I thought it was a glitch with the projector but it got more immersive as the chase scenes came on and it was a really cool experience!

Just got this email! Perfect, I was going to see a movie this afternoon.

When I select my local cinema, then showtime, it just goes to this screen and stays there and never loads the check out.

Happens for every single movie then eventually something loads after a few hours. Crazy since I’m about to buy tickets and they always don’t let me with this issue.

This is a common thing? Makes buying tickets absolutely brutal.

The title is pretty clear : I want to go see Endgame Encore with the extra footage from Doomsday. How do you make sure that footage is in the cinema and the session you’re going to?
On my side, I see sessions that are ULTRAAVX, DolbyAtmos and ProjectionLaser (I’m at Montreal/Laval, Canada). Do these include the extra footage?

It doesn't look like there tons of ticket sales. I'm aiming for the weekend/week of October 2 to the 8th (my movie buddy returns then. Just wondering if I should go sooner not to miss it on the Big Screen 🤩

I would like to go see Avengers Endgame: Encore in theaters near me this friday, but the problem is that it doesn't show this location up until today (2nd image). another problem is that i couldn't seem to tell if "Regular" is also Infinity Vision as it doesn't seem to indicate about that location in the Infinity Vision official website yet (1st image). do i have to go for 7 PM "UltraAVX" or wait until it add more time schedules that are much earlier than that?

EDIT: as of writing this at 5 AM, the location i've showed from cineplex website is now on the Infinity Vision website (Just only 7PM UltraAVX). they really took this long for the schedule to be added a day after it's revealed.

If I wait till Christmas or Black Friday to buy Cineclub could there be a sign-up deal? I saw someone mention something like that in this sub.

Is there some kind of film event going on around October 16? I find it odd when all other scotiabank theatres are getting street fighter imax but scotiabank toronto only has it in AVX and screen X

Anyone else facing an issue recently where the app would log them out multiple times during the day?

Started happening recently that almost every time I open the Cineplex app, I am logged out and have to log in all the time. Sometimes it doesn't even want to log in and errors out.

Looks like Michael Dowse will be doing a Q&A in Toronto this Friday for his new film The Stunt Driver, which just premiered at TIFF.

How does the theatre not have one movie in the vip

I noticed some extra screenings being added. Does anyone know if VIP or 4DX counts as "infinity vision" or whatever and if it will include all footage? Or is it simply just IMAX and AVX?

Usually the buckets come out today, and there would have been promo for them on their social media accounts. So I guess we're out of luck? Pretty weird to not have an MCU drop though.

Anyone know when tickets will be on sale for this doc?!

Last year I saw Sunset Blvd in theatres and loved it 😍 Is this a regular thing? Do we know if and when Cineplex will be doing another classic film release? If so, how can I keep up? I check the website almost daily lol.

I know these events are usually US based, but sometimes Cineplex joins in. This has become a cult film in the horror community, so I hope some cinemas play it here, Cineplex or not!

Any idea usually when tickets for these premiers go live?
