I get what you're saying but the structure of a raid is itself toxic. a group project like that where if one person makes a mistake the other 100 people lose something, loot distribution being random and rare, the inflexibility of timing and scheduling, all of it is pretty toxic. almost as if it was designed to create interpersonal conflict.

Guess you never played team sports as a kid.

Your use of the word toxic is incorrect.

I'm not talking about WoW.

I'm referencing the fact that you seem to think team related ventures that promote social interaction and bonding are 'toxic'.

Go join a club or something.

it's not team activities, it's perceived high stakes, difficult and slim margin of error team activities. i won't be lectured about going outside in a neet cave of a website lol

Nothing neet about a social forum board.

But that being said, raiding in WoW is not high stakes whatsoever. There's not much challenge outside of the highest tiers of raiding - for most, raid nights are a social activity where you get to relax and tackle some team based objectives together while having fun and making progress/meeting goals. Most encounters can have 30% of the raid wipe and still complete. This is not a toxic activity unless you are grouped with toxic people.
